Nintendo Power was the big one for me. I also subscribed to PC Accelerator in my teens. Imagine if Maxim and PC Gamer had a baby, that would be PC Accelerator. I liked it because while PC Gamer would come with one game demo on the disk, PC Accelerator usually came with about a dozen. And also the magazine was full of swimsuit models...

Isn't the origin story of marriage basically ownership of a woman anyway?

Kind of, it was more about the combining/transferring of wealth from one generation to the next. Problem was the best bargaining chip that a lot of people had was "Here, impregnate my daughter and force her into indentured servitude!" Combine that with the fact that being gay 5000 years ago was a foreign concept and you have marriage as we know it today.

So yea, it still surprises me that an outdated, sexist, homophobic practice not only still exists today, but that the LGBT community has actively fought to participate in it rather than abolish it altogether.

It was OK, but I remembered the second game more. It probably never got a remaster because the other two you mentioned fall into the "So bad it's good" category while Phantasmagoria is just a solid 90's adventure game.

Edit: Also had to look up who owns the rights to it now. It would be Microsoft since they own Activision.

I technically started getting thinning hair in my mid-twenties, but it wasn't really noticeable until my late 30's. Once I hit 40 I just said fuck it and started shaving my head. I was always worried my head shape wouldn't work or I would have grooves but it is actually nice and smooth. Helps having a beard too.

The RIGHT way to use AI is to have it give you the basic outline of whatever it is you want and you go in and touch it up by hand to turn it into exactly what you want. It just does the busy work and leaves you with the stuff that actually matters.

This is true no matter what you use AI for (writing, recipes, drawing, programming, etc.). People who think AI is going to replace humans have no idea of what abilities AI has. It is always a helping tool, not a replacing one.

I think it is more a matter of "would the NFL allow a new team period". Only one team has been added in the 21st century, and only 11 teams have been added since the NFL and AFL merged (2 of those being AFL teams that got in a few years after).

The only way I could see it happening is if one of the existing teams were sold to a city, which would never happen.

So someone on a wage not a salary, ans is working 40 hours every week doesnt lose 8 hours a pay a week, it will be good.

I think a better solution would be to just do away with wages entirely and move everyone to salary, in addition to requiring anyone working over a certain amount of hours a week (32 in this case) to be given compensation for additional hours worked.

"Oh, I'm sorry, you want to cut my hours because you don't have enough work for me? Too bad, you still need to pay me the same regardless!"
