I think about 3 years ago, went to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. I usually love going to museums, but hate that there aren't many around here and I hate traveling. I'll probably go on a trip this summer and visit some museums there, just have to figure out where (Montreal if the Canadian border is open by then, otherwise probably Rhode Island, the only state in New England I haven't been to).

Update:
I've decided to give Starcraft another chance after 3-ish years, so I'm putting AoE on hold until I FINALLY finish this thing.
I forgot how awesome the story was because my memory was polluted with the difficult gameplay. I think I'll re-read the lore in the instruction manual, then watch the story to the first game on Youtube, then start Brood War. I think I actually did beat the first game awhile ago, then started Brood War.

@Dikitain did you give up on Brood War because lack of time, too much difficulty or both?
Little bit of both, I actually got pretty far in the Brood War campaign without cheating (last mission of the Terran campaign) but I just couldn't wrap my head around it and decided to just cheat. Once I started playing the Zerg campaign with cheats, I was glad I did. The last mission is just brutal, and even some of the middle ones are insane. Didn't help that Zerg are my least favorite race in Starcraft.

I manged to get through the Starcraft back in the day (see my shitty walkthrough from 21 years ago, LOL!) but I could never get through Brood War without cheats. Some of the later campaign missions get insane.

Warcraft 3 (and the expansion) were actually way easier, and what I played of Starcraft 2 was also way easier. Plus I found the RTS in Command and Conquer to be a little better to manage then in Blizzard games. Age of Empires was just kind of boring to me, never piqued my interest. I think I only got about halfway through the first game before I gave up.

On the bright side it's just more reliable and better built, on the downside there are a lot of weird things, ctrl+c not working in the terminal is one of them for sure.

To be fair, there is a good reason for that. ctrl+c is the shortcut to kill a process (end task in Windows). And that dates back farther then ctrl+c being "Copy to clipboard".

Despite the fact that I have been using Linux for almost 20 years at this point, I still prefer to download some Ubuntu based distro for my own personal use. I maintain my opinion that the worst thing about Zelda 2 by far is the game over system, which should put you at the entrances to any given area rather than back to the starting point of the game. It is odd that the game's designers even seemed semi-cognizant of that as that's how the final dungeon works.

It is very much done that way on purpose.

The overworld map is not like the original, it is relatively safe to travel from area to area save for a few sections. For example, once you get the hammer, going to dungeon 2 and 3 after a game over is a breeze. The other dungeons are in their own distinct areas, they don't overlap. The main difference is the last dungeon has a huge gauntlet to get through which requires a lot of magic use. You really need a checkpoint once you make it to the dungeon which you actually get. Adding checkpoints on every dungeon would make it a bit too easy.

It also helps to understand that you should not fight the dungeon bosses until you have gotten everything else (heart containers, magic containers, items, magic). That makes them way easier.

If that doesn't work, then just call the landlord and let him deal with it. You could try to fix it yourself but if you are renting it is the landlords problem, not yours.

It's been three years, yet Valve hasn't changed their policies to remain competitive. By all accounts Valve is letting this happen, but somehow they escape criticism and Epic is the bad guy. It's ass backwards.

Because Valve has the superior product (for AAA games at least). And they have done stuff, they added features, they increased Mac and Linux support, etc. Plus, they get plenty of criticism, did you hear how much people complained when they changed the look and feel of their launcher? But by and large the pros outweigh the cons.

Epic is doing policies that would have worked back in the days when people could only afford to buy maybe 1-2 games a year. Now a platform isn't defined by what games it has, it is defined by what features it has. Epic doesn't have features that appeal to me, and if they did I might consider supporting them. Otherwise them buying up exclusives to force me to use them just makes them assholes.

Dumb take. AWS likely has far more robust redundancy than any on-prem solution that guy's town would be able to implement on their own. The lesson they should learn from this is to operate cross-cloud, so set things up in AWS as well as GCP/AZURE/etc... The worst lesson would be to go back to everything on prem.
And yet no one is going to do that because of how difficult/expensive it is to develop cross-cloud. Most of these platforms (AWS included) pride themselves on redundancy yet they still have an obvious single point of failure as shown by what has happened. That goes down, shit hits the fan. And that is not even going into the fact that you need to train multiple engineers to even use them. An AWS certification takes one person hundreds of hours before they are even considered half-way compitent. Now add to that the other cloud systems they need to be certified for and those on-site solutions are looking a hell of a lot cheaper.

I am not saying that everything should go back to on-site servers (or even the traditional way of having servers in multiple locations separate from your home that you can fall back to at any time), but people also need to understand that cloud isn't the end-all-be-all when it comes to this stuff.

No that's a bad analogy please don't justify supporting human trash.

I mean, if you would rather the life's work of dozens of people should be thrown away to spite one person and give him more of a spotlight then he deserves then I would think you are supporting him more then I am.

Hell, until you mentioned his name I never even knew who he was, I just enjoyed playing the game. And I doubt most of the people who play the game did either.

Imagine supporting a game made by a scumbag like Mike zero
You do realize that one bad person doesn't invalidate the work of dozens of others? That is like burning down your house because one light switch doesn't work.
