why do people like sour cream?

My worst are buffalo wing sauce, or really just about any hot sauce.

I used to kinda enjoy buffalo but now it just burns my mouth.

Sour cream by itself is kinda nasty, but so is mayo. But when you put it on something, it tastes good.

I think the worst condiment would probably be garum, a fermented fish sauce used in Roman cuisine. It was made from fish intestines and salt, which was then left in the sun to ferment.

Sour Cream is pretty good, but I would never eat it straight like I would hot sauce or lemon juice. It is great on potatoes though.

The worst for me is blu cheese.

I stay away from anything that combines the words "fermented" and "fish".

I hate ranch. I live in Michigan and it's basically sacrilege to say that because everyone dips everything in ranch. The worst are the people that dip their pizza in ranch.

i'll never understand the ranch hype.

I'd put the standard brands of hot sauce up there too, but the thing is hot sauce can vary a LOT, even moreso than BBQ. I was convinced I didn't like any hot sauce for the longest time, but I've found a few that I liked a lot.

Havent seen ungubby post here in a long time. Blue cheese is the worst though. Love ranch.

That's pretty much it, or any variation of it (sour cream, blue cream cheese, some ranches, etc) do caviar count as one?

Don't care for regular Hot Sauce but spicy versions of others I don't mind so much.

I have this insufferable friend who HAS TO order blue cheese instead of ranch every time we go to the local sports bar and he's always smug about it.
That shit he gets barely tastes different from ranch, just slightly creamier. Real blue cheese tastes very different. I still don't like it though.

Never had miracle whip. You are wrong about mayo though God tier condiment.

But hey we all got differing tastes. I dislike mustard. Ranch is weird to me it tastes good at first but the after taste is bad. Not a fan of hot sauce I can handle lower levels of spicy it's just the taste.

i don't really think it's bad, i just really don't get why there are so many people that put so much of it on everything they eat. that's weird and kind of gross.

for the topic though i'd probably go with mayo or that fermented fish thing.

I didn't realize so many people hated mustard. LOL!

I mean yea, yellow mustard is kind of weird, but honey mustard and brown mustard are amazing.

I think I feel that way about most condiments, tbh I like them on something, but not really by itself Especially mustard. While I like it on stuff, its gross by itself

Well that's the point of a condiment I suppose. Don't think it was meant to be ate by itself. Now mayo I like by itself. And no I don't eat it by itself I just use my finger and scrape the leftover off a butter knife then consume it.

I do the same. Like when I make ham, mayonnaise, and cheese sandwiches

Never had a worse one but then again I don't eat them on there own.
