I do appreciate the general devil-may-care tone of Solo. One of the things the prequels had none of and even the sequels were a little too soft on is the scoundrel element.

I don't think of Twitter like that. Maybe because I use it a lot I'm biased, but in essence it's a good way to connect with people with your interests, and a handy networking tool.

You can also get info on developing issues as they happen to groups of interest. Which is to say much of what I learned about transgender issue efforts has been via Twitter.

Also the funny stuff.

Like we still use phones, emails, and plenty of other methods to connect. Twitter is not "the majority" of communications. It's just where many people have landed.

It's called social interaction. You engage in this and you learn things about people.

Well pinky, the attitude that a verification is nothing more than "Twitter cred" is the very attitude that engendered this abusive rewrite of the system in the first place.

It's not about the "badge of pride". It's about knowing that the person you were reading was the person they claimed to be, and that impersonators were fraudulent.

And yes it may be funny when "Disney Junior UK" posts swear words, but think of it this way: GameFAQs has had an impersonation clause in the board rules for decades!
