IMO, until Zithers actually displays some factual knowledge about the subject, it isn't worth continuing to go back and forth. All he's doing is dragging the conversation down and getting other people to provide proof of the basic facts of the matter that he clearly has no knowledge of.

A movies value is completely independent from other movies unless it's explicitly part of a series. This is such a dumb complaint when there are tons and tons of great superhero stories with no sequel.

I thought it was explicitly part of a series (the DCEU) since they were going to tie it in with Superman, and it was already tied in with the Shazam series. Also, I wasn't saying the post credit scene was the only thing. I thought the movie itself was OK, and the post credit scene was awesome, but there's no point in watching the movie itself, imo. Black Adam got shelved and so did that version of Superman. I didn't think the movie itself was "good." I thought it was just OK, so no point in watching an OK movie when none if it is going to matter in the future of the DCEU.

Like... I thought Ant-Man 3 was OK, but there's a larger point in watching it since it ties into the rest of the MCU. Same for Black Widow (bad), and a number of Marvel entries in phase 4 that were just OK at best.

I thought Black Adam was OK, but there's really no point in even watching it. The post credit scene was awesome in the moment, but now that they're wiping all that away, it doesn't matter in the slightest.

I suppose that's another unforeseen consequence of the blocking feature

Yeah, I'd say that's a fair assumption. Since there are multiple defendants in one trial, I'd say it will take at least a day or so, but I'm not 100% sure. I can't remember how long the juries took to deliberate in the Oath Keepers trials.

That was my thought. She may have gone to a grocery store that's in a more affluent area.

One of the defense attorneys misstated a law relevant to the case and pissed off the judge. The jury was sent out of the room so that the judge can clear things up with the defense attorney in question.

Its just wild to me this dude made it big. My friend has been saying for years that his little brother has been kind of a fuck up in life, and has had no real direction as to what he wanted to do other than make shitty trap songs.

The TikTok algorithm pushes popular videos to more and more people, though. It's generally geared towards 1 minute videos that people can consume quickly and then move on.

That's also why YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels became a thing.

About 85k. The roof was 50k, the 3 powerwalls were about 22.5k and then there was an $11k "extended territory" fee because Tesla's solar division doesn't have an office in San Antonio. All of their people and equipment were coming from Austin.

And yeah, my HOA was trying to tell me I couldn't have the system installed if the6 couldn't make the roof match the color of my neighbors' roofs. That was dumb AF and they wouldn't listen to reason until Tesla found a property code law that basically says HOAs can't legally deny the installation of solar energy devices unless it's being installed in an area managed by the HOA.

I'm at the tail end of getting the law updated to include solar roof tiles. I was in Austin a couple weeks ago testifying at the state Capitol building.

What do you have turned on thats consuming 1.2k? For a short outage its fine, but for longer stuff like the winter storm you gotta ration it, specially since theres barely any sun (and if you want to sleep with AC). Telling you this out of experience with the same battery and a hurricane. With 12 solar cells they were generating .03 kwh for the next two days.

For the most part. It doesn't do as well I'm the winter when the sun is at a worse angle, but I've sent a lot more power to the grid than I've used from it this year.

Also if I need to use the emergency heat in super cold weather, that uses a lot of power and the batteries drain quickly

On the off chance you're not aware, kishimoto recently took over writing duties from the boruto author within the last year or so which might help explain the shift in writing.

Edit: and actually, also in case you weren't aware, boruto was historically not written by Naruto's actual author. It was being done by an editor or someone that kishimoto knew, but if the writing seemed like fanfiction it's because it was basically fanfiction. It's the Dragon Ball GT of the Naruto universe.

A major twist in the last chapter and a huge reveal in this month's chapter. Hopefully it keeps getting better because I've been struggling with the decision to keep reading this series for the most part. For the vast majority of Boruto, I've just been reading it to keep up with any updates to the Naruto universe, but these last two chapters have been very intriguing.

Yeah, I'm fortunate that my windows downstairs are north facing so the floor doesn't get direct sunlight. There is a small south facing window by the front door, but it has an awning(?) over it on the outside and the window only gives a view of the carpet stairway.

Also, I once had someone come by and try to sell me solar before I was ready to sign up. He went through the whole sales pitch and I ended up telling him no. The company called me the next day and asked "Why I had signed up with another solar company but told them no."

I was confused because I hadn't signed up with anyone at that point. He said they saw a sign from a solar company in my front yard. I told them they were full of it in a polite way because I didn't have any solar company sounds in my front yard. I realized months later that ADT also sells solar, so they thought the sign for my security system meant that I had signed up with solar from them.

The sign was there when they came out, though so oh well.

They're also called dual sheer blinds. They have "front and back" layers that will completely block visibility or give openings to look through, depending on how you set them with the control mechanism.
