From what Jeff Novitzky said, he only testes positive for the long term metabolites, which provide no no benefit or something. The period in which he was tested was close enough to a previous test (like 20 days) that he would have had to test positive to for the short and medium term metabolites as well, but was clean. The going theory is that it's a pulsing effect with the long term metabolites.

That's not to say Jon isn't a POS idiot, but I'm not sure he actually took anythingthis time. This is the same steroid he tested positive for the last time, but there's no indication of the metabolites that should be present if he ingested it between tests. Not to mention the tested levels in his tests have always been at 0 or so microscopic an account they were determined by outside arbitrators to be of no benefit to performance.

The problem is USADA has suspended others that have similar stories and testing histories, like Frank Mir. Even if you think the story is plausible, and it is, it's a different decision than they've made in the past under very similar circumstances

I don't agree. The way fast food has responded so far has been to add items, usually unsuccessful ones, rather than to take popular but unhealthy items away. Though tbf they did stop using beef tallow because of trans fats so maybe I'm wrong

The site isn't accurate. It says only 1 person with my name. While my name isn't that common, I went to school with 2 others that had my name and that's just in this region of Brooklyn.

it doesn't scrape through primary SSA data to see how many people are given the name, it just calculates the likelihood based on the names popularities so that makes sense

It's even more complicated than that, actually. The organization that made the call is USADA, which is independent from the UFC. The decision makes no sense, but bribery doesn't either. They took down Lance Armstrong who certainly had more of an ability to pay them off.

If anything -- and this is kind of a Trumpian angle -- it could be that the UFC is just leveraging their relationships. Their VP for health/performance is a former FDA/IRS agent who worked with USADA to investigate things like the Armstrong doping case.

Most people grew up with the books as they were coming out. So into adulthood they remain interested in the series

A lot of younger people still pick up the series through the books and movies as well, though definitely fewer than my generation.

I know I'm still into the series. It's a great coming of age story, the world and characters are fun and interesting and it's the series that got me into reading.

speaking of which, do kids of today have a HP equivalent of their own? I guess Hunger Games is it, but even that is getting a bit old now and idk of a more recent kids/young adult book series that's popular

Even attractive people have strong insecurities about their looks. Looking at people fixating on flaws that other people would hardly notice I can totally believe these people sincerely believe they are unattractive.

I don't think this is the case, but my disagreement is mostly cosmetic because I agree that the root of it is insecurities. If I'm playing pop armchair psychologist, it seems more likely to me that they're complaining about their looks specifically because they know they aren't bad looking and that they will get praise and reassurances which will help them feel better about the insecurities they feel not in relation to their appearance

not to say that pretty people never think they're ugly but usually if you think you're bad at something you don't talk so much about it
