But you literally listed 2 regulations that don't help at all for their problems, as examples of what we need to do with gun regulations. Explain how your gun regulations will be less useless (and in fact harmful) to the original problem than your examples, and then we can talk.

Are you saying seat belts and speed limits don't limit fatalities in automobile accidents? Or DUI checkpoints don't help limit fatalities from drunk driving accidents?

These regulations aren't useless. Seat Belts have saved an estimated 255,000 lives since 1975. (Source; CDC https://www.cdc.gov/motorvehiclesafety/seatbeltbrief/index.html) And seat belt use is on the rise thanks to laws and regulations.

15 states made it illegal to text while driving. Do you really think that hasn't helped? (I'm honestly surprised it's not all 50)

Keep in mind that automobile fatalities are mostly non-malicious, and unplanned. While most mass shootings are planned, and all are malicious. Not to mention that people deal with automobiles way more than guns (which is the same reason vending machines kill more people than sharks. But I'd be willing to bet given the choice between swimming in shark infested waters and buying a candy bar, you'd take your chances with the candy bar).

I think it should be harder to get guns. At least harder than it is to buy Sudafed. Honestly at least as hard as it is to get behind the wheel of a car. Like I said, with cars -- most accidents are just that. (And there are accidents that should be prevented with guns. Too many times have I heard of some kid accidentally shooting another kid. A 3 year old shooting and killing his sister. What kind of idiot lets their 3 year old near their loaded gun?)

Honestly I know it's all in vain. We're never going to see any legislation making it harder to buy guns. It's just not going to happen. If it didn't happen after Sandy Hook, it's never going to happen. If someone can go in and kill 20 elementary school aged children, and our politicians do nothing about it, then they're never going to do anything. All they're going to do is send their thoughts and prayers so they can sleep easier at night. But I think it's silly to pretend that it's useless to even try to do something because people are afraid of government. Especially when those same people gladly let that same government have more money for the military than the next 13 countries combined.

Most people don't want to outright ban guns. They want to regulate them. Much like we do with cars to prevent drunk drivers, and reduce fatalities. Or how we increased airport security after 9/11 to prevent hijackings.

I always find it weird how most of the same people who are pro-gun because "TYRANY!" are also often the same people who want to fund our military to the point where any resistance would be futile anyway.

-Require Rinoa for the Balamb Garden Team when the team splits up.
-More on the Sorceress War. And not just in magazines.

Removing the Squall/Rinoa relationship would make the game infinitely worse. Their relationship is integral to the game, no matter how much you want to remove Squall entirely from the game or ship him with Quistis or Selphie or whoever.

I love how people come in here being like 'personal relationship', form your own thing, organized religion sucks just talk to jesus and stuff. So silly. Christianity is literally based on a book that says if you don't believe every single word it's just as good as if you didn't believe any of it. It's just deluded to think otherwise and try to stay Christian even tho you literally oppose almost everything it stands for.

To be fair, most people pick and choose what they believe about Christianity (or Islam or any of the other religions) anyway. Most of them don't even read the bible. (Reading the bible coincidentally is what turned me atheist)

I could see someone saying "The bible is corrupted, but Jesus was still the son of god" though it sounds like TC is more of a Deist.

Definitely emotionally abusive. She's 13, and her hair is probably a big part of her self image. It's easy to say "it's just hair" but she's a teenage girl, and haircuts to girls mean a lot more than they do to guys. It's basically meant to shame and humiliate her by giving her a bad hair cut that she doesn't want. He's basically stepping on her self esteem and sense of self worth. And it's probably to get back at mom through the kid.

Dad should probably lose any custodial rights he has here. I know if someone cut one of my daughters hair a way she didn't want, I wouldn't want them seeing any of my kids ever again.

I knew I was going to pick the Eagles. Took the Eagles at work too. Thought it'd be really close. WAY underestimated the passing yards though. Figured it'd be a fairly high scoring game (thought not this high scoring) Figured the score would be 31-28. Was only off 10 for the Eagles, and 5 for the Patriots.

As a Giants fan, I'm okay with this result. Every NFC East team has a ring. And Brady doesn't get #6. Age has to catch up to him sooner or later.

Browns fun facts:

Nick Foles has as many Super Bowl championships as Browns have games won in the past two seasons
Blake Bortles has won more playoff games than the Browns have won games in the past
two seasons.
The 76-77-78 expansion Buccaneers won a total of 7 games in 3 years. The Browns have won 4 games the last 3 years.
The Lions 3 year stretch after 0-16 had 8 games won in that same time period.
The 2014 Cleveland Browns won as many games as the 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Cleveland Browns combined.

Stat of the day:

It took 162 games predicted correctly to get into the playoffs this year.
Last year, 162 would have been 3rd place
two years ago, 162 would have been 1 game ahead of 1st place.
Three years ago however, it wouldn't have gotten you into the playoffs.

Here is the standings of the combined last 4 years (for everyone who made picks every year)

Which team do you want to win the Super Bowl?

Rules:
1. The final two players will face off in the Super Bowl, with the winner claiming this year's crown
2. Picks must be submitted by game start time, and will be posted as soon as the game is started
3. Good luck.

Spreadsheets:
Records:

Week by Week:
goo.gl/MyDTQ1

Locks:

Remaining Players:
Standings:
(5)theawesomestevr 169-87 [320]
(10)Ashethan 163-93 [130]

Official Tiebreaker rules:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vS654SUsTu0k_MEItWT5TNh53FhUUT9VOdYqd3QwqDjEdjfhi2YpdHXi_LuA7o2fvqVroFPSceaOPt3/pub

What you are picking:
1. Which team will win -- and by how much?
2. Pick a Spread that will make your team win in the event you both pick the wrong team (Ex: Jets +3.5)
3. How many points will be scored in the game
4. How many passing yards will be thrown in the game
5.How many rushing yards will be rushed for in the game?
6. What will the greatest point differential be in the game?
7. What will the longest field goal be in the game?
8. What time will the first score be made?

NOTE: If there are no field goals, the field goal tiebreaker will be skipped.

Quick explanation:

Scenario A: Both users pick different teams.
Whichever player picks the correct team wins

Scenario B: Both users pick the same team, and are right.
Whichever player is closer to the score difference wins (over or under)
Next tiebreaker: Points scored in the game
Next tiebreaker: Total Passing yards
Next tiebreaker: Total Rushing Yards
Next tiebreaker: Highest Point Differential
Next tiebreaker: Longest Field Goal
Next tiebreaker: Time of first score
Final Tiebreaker: Higher Seed wins

Scenario C: Both users pick the same team, and are wrong
Whichever player has a lower spread that still wins
Next tiebreaker: Points scored in the game
Next tiebreaker: Total Passing yards
Next tiebreaker: Total Rushing Yards
Next tiebreaker: Highest Point Differential
Next tiebreaker: Longest Field Goal
Next tiebreaker: Time of first score
Final Tiebreaker: Higher Seed wins

Scenario D: One player does not send a pick, the other sends a wrong pick
The player who sent a pick wins

Scenario E: Neither player sends a pick
The higher seed automatically wins

(5) theawesomestevr
vs
(10) Ashethan

Philadelphia Eagles vs New England Patriots

I will need a volunteer to take our picks. Preferably someone who can post the picks as soon as the game starts.

I'm going to say the Old Lady (unless she was a store employee or owner of the store)

The kids were just being kids. Yeah, they can be annoying. But kids aren't going to behave all of the time. People expect you to NEVER take your kids out in public because of it, which is ridiculous.

Dad made an attempt to quiet them down. (How many people obeyed their parents 100% of the time? Raise your hand. Now look at all the people with their hands raised. All those people are what we call liars.)

The old lady however decided to try to shame dad. It wasn't her place at all, and unlike the 8 year olds--she has full culpability. The kids do have some culpability here--as does dad--but the old lady shouldn't have gotten involved unless she worked for the store. At least not in the way she did.

$86 + cost to watch the movie.

$1/minute seems fair.

Nick Foles also got the Eagles to the playoffs in 2013. Then two years later Chip Kelly traded him and a high draft pick for Sam Bradford because... honestly I still don't understand
