Neab - I've not been giving the game much thought lately. I've just been too busy with work and family. (And unfortunately tomorrow I won't be around much, because we're driving to New York for New Year's) After IGCD and JB though, I'd say Ben is my next highest suspect. Just the way he went after Corrik the day before, and then Chris yesterday (saying that he's scum if Sheep is town.) His voting record has been great, though. But I can't help but be a little paranoid of him. And really it comes down to POE.

Some quick questions for people before my kids party:

Mzero - What are your thoughts on players who aren't dead and/or Johnbobb? I get that you're busy. I am too. But giving thoughts on a few other players would be useful. Even if it's just a couple of lines.

Johnbobb - What exactly is so unsportsmanlike about voting for someone who may be replacing out? Especially when the person is out of the game. Also, what did you think of people who wondered when we should just lynch garetha? I don't recall you bringing it up, but I might've missed it.

Ben - What makes Corrik scum if plum is scum? I've seen you throw this idea out there, but I don't see how B follows A. I get Corrik paranoia, but I don't really see how you get to Corrik being scum here.

So why not unvote him? You've showed Chris that you aren't afraid of voting him. You've listed others you think are scum. Chris wasn't among them. Why leave a vote on someone who you don't have as a scum read? If you are town, your vote could be useful somewhere else. Like on someone you think is scum.

Nobody else seemed to think "Shad's got a scan on Plum!" If you and Shad are both town, Scum is going to look at that vote and think "Town vs town." (And honestly, I'm not sure why Town would ever assume someone voting them means they have a scan). So you were fine drawing attention to it. But now you don't want to elaborate? Why? You were fine drawing attention to it in the first place.

IGDC, then some combination of DYL, Sheep, and Shad. Death feels like he's been trying to figure the game out, and I don't remember feeling that from him the last time I saw him as scum. (Back in the Jinjo game).

I think neab is the least likely to be scum on this lynch. I don't think he'd counter Ben if he was scum. And if they're BOTH scum, then they'd risk whoever shot Reg countering them both.

DYL
DYL didn't really push what he called his top two suspects, instead choosing to talk about inactives. He questions sheep a little, but doesn't really press Eaed at all (Which is where his vote lands, and where his other top suspect's vote lands too). I had to go back to topic 2 to find out why he didn't like ed. Yeah, inactivity is a problem. But it's also an easy fall back for scum to talk about. A totally safe discussion.

Death
The only thing I really didn't like from death during my reading last night and this morning was this:

Not really sure if he thought Reg's questions were good or not from this. All I get is 'not motivational', which makes me unsure. Were the questions good, but not motivating? Or were they bad and not motivating? I'm guessing the former, but it could be taken either way. (And I took it as the latter when reading it the first time)

He followed Reg at the end there onto Terra, then back onto Eaed. That makes me hesitant to believe he's scum here. But then you have his justification for going back to eaed:

This stands out to me because when I went back to look at his vote... I noticed Reg got off Terra just before his post. That's when he switches back. To me, it appeared he felt Terra's lynch just wasn't viable anymore. But then he goes on to explain he doesn't like lynching the unclaimed. Seems preemptively defensive to me. I'm sure he actually does feel that way (which kind of makes it weird he voted Terra in the first place) but it sticks out.

Shad
His vote comes really late. Earlier in the day (well not THAT much earlier) he was asking Han the case on Reg, and Han didn't really answer him. He then disappears for a while. Not sure why he didn't vote Eaed before leaving if that was his intention. (He said today that eaed was his target all along).

IGCD
IGCD's countervote of eaed yesterday wasn't bad, and it at least explains why he'd choose eaed over Reg at the end of day. Though that vote to tie it was really bad. Then today he countervoted Chris. I'm not really sure what that was supposed to accomplish. I don't think anyone else was going to look at that and think "Yeah, we should vote Chris!" And I don't think Chris is going to back down because of one vote. Also, his vote is on Chris, and yet Chris wasn't on his list of reads So why'd he vote for Chris? And why is his vote still there?

Sorry I've not been more active. Been busy with work. But I've been following along when I can, and should be able to be more active now.

I don't see what was so bad about Ed's claim. He mixed his text up a little, but given that he hasn't played Persona 5, I could see him doing that. His response afterward makes me a lot more concerned. But does Scum Ed go after Scare, one of the top players, like that? Watching him as scum in TV Crossover, he seemed a lot less proactive. He sort of let things happen and avoided getting lynched because he didn't claim. I mean his first vote wasn't great, but does scum Ed stir the pot that early when he doesn't have to?

Red's right in that we shouldn't just 'town confirm' so easily. Especially not on day 1 before we've had a single flip.

Reg's early defensiveness still strikes me as a bit off. I don't remember playing with him that well, though I don't seem to remember him being defensive. He also says that he doesn't want the day to stagnate, but he's not really pushed HB that much (despite that being where his vote has been). instead choosing to discuss inactives (Okay, fair. I'm one of them. And we do need more activity). HB is still pretty new, right? I mean I could definitely see a newer player seeing that and thinking "Aha! Gotcha scum!" on Ed's mix up. Even if other players were saying that the host writes fakeclaims. If HB were a hardened vet, I'd be concerned about him. But so far I've mostly liked his posts.

Corrik not being around is strange, since he's usually the most active. But scum corrik is usually very manipulative. I think he plays a very psychological game. Town Corrik does too, though. His playstyle seems to change from game to game.

Does MZero still always roll scum? I know he rolled town in my game, but has he started rolling town more often? I know he's usually excited to play town. Then again, he might just be busy like me.

For now, I think I'll throw my vote on Reg. ##Vote: Reg

Of all the players so far, he's stood out the most to me in a negative way. His case on HB is a bit weak, and without any teeth.

I don't think ed's post was that scummy. Comes across as someone who doesn't usually try to get pressure on day 1, trying to get pressure on day 1. Not so much a fan of him backtracking on his Red read so fast, though.

Speaking of Red, his breadcrumbing has me leaning town on him. I'd be surprised if we don't have a thief. (Cause, you know. Phantom Thieves)

Reg got a little too defensive over the 'shitposting'. I mean it's day 1, topic 1, page 2. That's pretty much what we expect from start of day 1 isn't it?

Neablis following Han onto Ed... not really sure about. If ed's scum, though, I'd feel a little better about him.

Nintendo's Online service is a pretty reasonable price. $1.67/month isn't bad at all. Especially since it comes with an expanding library of NES games. My daughters are playing the original Legend of Zelda on there.

Definitely the Bills comeback against the Oilers in the playoffs in 1992. Almost made me a Bills fan. Still can't believe we went all that way for the game and got to see it in person. Definitely one of the things that made me a fan of the NFL.

I feel like I'm the only person who prefers using Zelda to Sheik. Never enjoyed Sheik's gameplay much. I'd rather use pretty much any other speedy character.

I prefer Zelda too. Though I haven't played Smash since Brawl.
