Legends Arceus is a main series title, and it's radically different.

Sun/Moon also didn't have Gyms.

Sun and Moon were great, but people bitched about the gyms being gone. So they brought them back and made them even more boring in Sword and Shield.

Ive been playing it since launch. Its fun collecting for me. If youre not into that then idk. The PvP sucks even though theres people that swear by it. Raiding is nice and all but its designed to be a money sink for the people that do it all the time

Sorry, when I think of a bruise I just think of one on a limb or something that doesnt really hurt unless you mess with it.

Dentist thinks its a combination of the way my mouthguard (worn on top teeth) has been worn down (impacted tooth is lower left canine - the pointy one) + me being a stomach sleeper (head should be elevated to help alleviate symptoms as you want to reduce bloodflow to the bruise)

So Im getting a new mouthguard made.

Its actually been a shitty few months with dental news for me lol. October I get told I have to have a molar removed because it has a hole in the side. Everyone is shocked when I told them theres no pain and I didnt even know. So end of November then Im eating on my left side while the right heals. December I start feeling pain in this tooth but it goes away. Was going to see dentist because it did feel intense at points but then I caught covid on New Years Eve lol. Im surprised it held out this long, enough time for me to recover (because Im obviously not a douchebag whos going to expose medical staff to covid especially in a setting where I have to have a mask off and theyre close in my face).

It doesnt sound bad on its face but man does this shit hurt. Worst mouth pain in my life. Worst thing is the only thing I can do is wait for it to get better.

I don't like defending Nintendo, but Wii Sports was one of the biggest selling titles in the last 15 years. That it took this long to make an actual sequel for it is astounding.

Theres a method to farming mass outbreaks but I want to get the shiny charm before I bother with it

1 in 4096 was standard odds before this game

In fact outside of an outbreak, having species level perfect + shiny charm is only somewhat better odds than Masuda Method in earlier games

I think its because theres so many Pokmon in the overworld whereas thats equivalent to a bunch of wild encounters youre just going to skip over in traditional games. Couple that with the fact that mass outbreaks have a better shiny chance too

So far Ive caught 4, not counting the shiny Ponyta you get from that quest:

• Scyther (mass outbreak, evolved into Kleavor)
• Glameow (traded to a friend)
• Roselia
• Happiny (mass outbreak)

They wont do it because it will ruin regional pokedexes. If they bring Eevee in they have to add all of the other ones, and that would mean more models and animations

You can blindfold yourself in wild area and just take the first encounter you walk into

You could always use both if you really wanted to. Kleavor doesnt have the Fire weakness Scizor does and Rock dumpsters Fire types

Given how Scizor is treated in other games, Kleavor is likely to get trade evolution treatment in original formula games from now on as well

Im in area 3. Typhlosion, Liligant and Kleavor are most likely going to be permanent members of my team but idk who else I want to use. I also have Gardevoir, Overqwil and Rhydon in my party but I def dont want to keep the latter 2.

Ive seen a fan theory that the MC in Legends is from the same dimension as Rainbow Rocket. The Team Galactic in that scenario was never challenged and stopped by Lucas/Dawn, so maybe they were just pulled from their time to participate in the events of Legends: Arceus.

Or so Ive heard; I never finished the Rainbow Rocket stuff because teleporters suck.

Are you seriously comparing this game to cyberpunk? This game is not lying or pretending to be what its not. If anything the pre-release info has massively undersold what the game actually plays like. Meanwhile Cyberpunk was massively overhyped by the devs, media, and CDPRs massive group of fanboys alike, and released in a horribly unfinished state.

You might as well accept that every generation going forward is going to have a gimmick. Mega Evolution, Z-moves, and now Dynamax. At least Dmax feeds into the wild area and VGC meta.
