| Alanna82 07/06/20 12:20:36 AM #16 | I also find the early maps easier than the later ones on FE7. So "gaining levels for later" is how I play. The first time I used Marcus I used basically all pre promoted units because I was actually trying to go fast and save funds on promotion items. My exp went from 4 stars to 2 at the last level. Still only got a B. So I never played that way again. Not fun to speed run for me. But yes, Change Marcus to an 8. (Also, no one from FE7 gets a 10 from me. I think I gave Hector a 9.) Honestly pre promotes were under rated when the game first came out. Vaida and Pent are great. Harken and Karel too. I just felt underwhelmed from a supposed "best in game" unit. Edit: Soren's growths arn't in the main post. Just decided to edit this one instead of hogging this topic with posts. Edit edit: I gave Hector a 10. Change that to a 9. --- Don't mess with a Bunny! |

| Alanna82 07/06/20 12:11:34 AM #14 | I also tend to play turtle style, unlike most FE7 players. I've had way too many cases of someone going ahead, getting hit by 4 or 5 enemies and dying. I don't play for ranking. Since I play slower, my other units "catch up" to Marcus, who is usually being a ferry. (that might be why he is being doubled on normal.) If you want to discard my vote go ahead. I just don't think he should have the same score as Sigurd. And using Marcus DID hurt me in the long run since he hogged EXP that could have gone to make other units more survivable. When I didn't use Marcus, those units were much higher level and I had a more versatile team! If I play turtle, even units like Rebecca that everyone hates I found useful. I know I beat the game 10 times and used Marcus twice. The first time was the really bad time. The second time, he did do much better but was still not as good as like Hector. --- Don't mess with a Bunny! |

(assuming max level 15 average speed Marcus) I think it was Lloyd or Linus that took him out so many times. I also held him back a lot to have my other units gain experience, since he tends to only gain one exp. Also Sain and Kent exist. (Unlike Seth where his stats are on par with Franz and Forde) --- Don't mess with a Bunny! |

Most end game enemies double him though. He caused many many resets there the one time I tried using him and giving him a chance. Also how is I hated Tales of the Abyss because I got to what I thought was the ending and then nope, the one decent character so far did something stupid and I couldn't finish the game. If something scans as 1 cent in the system it is an item that was missed when we got rid of things. Sometimes the manager typed in a price of a similar item to please the customer. But you are never allowed to actually sell something marked at that price. (Though Gamestop did give me several strategy guides marked as a penny to me because they were just going to throw them away. I had a good Gamestop) Edit: looks like its a display copy.
