My problem with Engage's character design is everything is just a bit much. Celine being a prime example.

I loved the uniforms in 3H and the little differences between characters that show their personality. And most of the timeskip designs were great, save weird things like Felix's hair.

And I like Felix's hair. And Celine's poofy dress.

Speaking of Felix, I got an S rank Felix ring. Wish it did something cool like some of the other random S rank ones.

Timmera is my favorite of the new characters. She reminds me of Annette from three houses, who was one of my favorite characters from that game.

My husband and I were talking about Zestria the other night. He was saying that he liked the game despite the "character switch" in the middle of the game. I never played it.

Star Ocean 4 is actually one of my favorite games. I still to this say sometimes start to say "kay" all the time like Lymle.

the only bad christmas song is the one where the kid wants to by shoes for his dying mother and doesn't have enough money. How has no one said this one yet? I think its called the Christmas Shoes or something like that.

I'd go with 5 and 7.

No one ever recommends 7 and its a shame because its quite good. The 3ds version fixed most things people complained about the PS version.

I have been pronouncing it like Angela. There was a girl in my high school named Tangela, pronounced like Angela with a T in front.

But its always been Phanpy. Been pronouncing it like the word Fan followed by the letter P. If it had the second PH I would have called it Fan- Fee.

MYC was kind of a jerk. She made the jp fat jokes. And since I was friends with him because I too felt like an outcast here, it affected me pretty badly.

I might be projecting here so I apologize if that's the case, but I feel like there used to be a prevailing unhealthy sense of social tiers here. Sometimes this was played for laughs, sure, but then for some people and some times it got really serious and feelings were hurt.

I got picked on just for being a girl when I first joined. I was accused of being some guys alt (I think it was Froq's) I know BEthStardust was also picked on too for the same thing. (though she was a troll, I think it was because people had pigeon holed her as one)

Lufia has never been re-released. I rented Lufia 2 as a kid and was stumped by some of the puzzles. Would like another go at them to see if I could get them now. Also, the ancient cave would be another neat thing to try again, although I'd love to have some sort of suspend feature at least since I don't want to do it all at once.

(and no, the DS game that made Lufia 2 into an action game does not count)

Never played the original, though I've heard it's generic so I don't know if it would be worth playing.

First Lufia is a slog. Interesting story but if you played Lufia 2 maybe not so much.
Lufia 2 there is one puzzle to this day I cannot beat without an FAQ. (some growing weeds puzzle where each step they grow)

For video games I think it's gotta be Lord of the Rings for the SNES. It's one of those that had some neat ideas, especially for the time, but boy did they whiff the execution.

Yeah I got to agree about the LOTR video game. It was bad.

Disagree about the book though, it was a sad book but well written. I think the first bad book I read was some horse book my mother bought me because for some reasons she thought I liked horses.

I think SO4 and SO5 are underrated. I quite enjoyed both and replayed SO5 recently to get the universe and chaos trophies (still working on chaos). Would they win game of the century.....certainly not, but they're jot as bad as most make out.

SO4 platinum/100% is a beast tho due to the battle trophies. I think I only ever managed 70% of them and lost the will tonslay 100,000 of each enemy or whatever the target was.

I'm looking forward to getting Divine Force. I won't be getting it straight away though.

Is 4000$ really that low? I mean she makes money from other games right? The game is a short platformer so she isn't recording much dialog?

I mean, some people I know would love to get 4000$ . If its only 16 hours of recording 250$ is still way more an hour than most people I know make. My last job I made 9 dollars an hour. If I was offered 4000$ for 16 hours of work I would easily take it.

My husband, ironically also named Chris, is also 6'4''. He wishes he weighed 280.

Ironically the first thing I asked when I met him was "are you Sir Chris from gamefaqs" because he liked playing paladins in D and D, and I remember when we first met you told me you were a noble paladin.

He's about 10 years on you agewise though.

Hopefully this story will cheer you up. You have always been a good guy Chris. My family has thyroid problems so I have to have blood work done every year. So far so good. But thanks for the reminder I need to have that done this year.
