The serial numbers match but it has some holster wear at the front of the slide, also had some light surface rust when I got it. It came with two mags and a box of ammo. Its another addition to my 9x18 Makarov collection. Its a high mortality part though so thats understandable. Threaded muzzles and bayonet lugs were two features. Since this rifle met the legal number of assault rifle features it was legal to be imported. That ban expired in 2004 so a gun can legally have all those features now. | 545x39 10/24/18 7:59:35 PM #1 | First is a Remington 870 Wingmaster that belonged to the Ohio National Guard. The serial number dates it to 1968 and the barrel date is 1971. It has a large ONG engraving on the left side of the receiver, also has a bayonet lug. These were listed online last week at Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore, I've read that they had 1200 (800 fixed stock and 400 folding stock versions) and they sold out in a few hours. It will go nice with my other 870 Wingmaster that is marked *Property of No. Ridgeville Department* (a suburb of Cleveland).    Second is another AK, a Romanian SAR 1, imported during the Clinton assault weapon ban in 2002, the lack of a threaded muzzle and a bayonet lug made it an importable rifle, even during the ban. I bought a new 870 in 05 and its decent quality, wouldnt buy any new Remington though. I did just buy an Ohio National Guard 870 though.
