From what I can see and from the research I've done it looks like it's an exact copy of the Izhmash Saiga 9/Vityaz submachine gun. Of course, it doesn't have the third axis pin like those guns do. Other than that, it's crazy how accurate to the original specs this thing is. I think KUSA got the technical data for the Saiga 9 from Izhmash/Kalashnikov Concern before the Obama era sanctions hit. Some of the earlier manufactured guns had some issues but mine seems to be fine so far. A handful of guys I know bought around the same time I did and a couple of them had minor (cosmetic) to serious (missing the pins in the front sight base) problems. I put a cheap red dot on it and I can easily hit a 12"x12" steel plate at 100 yards. It's doable with iron sights but a little trickier. It's no where near as accurate as my MP5 with iron sights. https://i.imgur.com/cfUpBVAh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/odnR9mbh.jpg With the MP5: https://i.imgur.com/gK2QeF8h.jpg They even did an awesome job on getting the mags copied as well, right down to the metal reinforcements inside of them.
