So high school sweethearts? That's so wholesome. Glad to hear you're both happy. And yeah, having a partner that's just as nerdy as you is great

Not even quite that. We met online in a Resident Evil RP chat room back on..TalkCity. She lived in California, I lived in Florida.

We ended up officially moving in together in Colorado in 2009. Been living together since. Have only spent about 15 days apart since 2009, and that was spread over 3 times I went on vacations; twice for meet ups with an online group of friends and once for twitchcon. She is nervous about flying, so she opted to not go on those. But otherwise, we spend every day together.

I've been with the same girl since I was 13 and she was 14.

We are now both 36, and we've never regretted a thing about all our time together. I think a large part of it is, because we met so young, our interests and joys have aligned as we've grown.

We game together, nerd out together with comics and movies. We just enjoy spending our time together doing our hobbies.

Strokes can fuck you up like that.
Never know how someone will come out of them. My grandmother had one, and for a while, this woman who never cursed, just cursed everyone out when they tried to talk to her. Then one day, a switch flipped and she was normal; and when told about what she had been saying, she was horrified. To her, she had been talking normal during all those times.

My mom had one, and when from being a confident, take no shit person to being very..just timid and not quite herself. About a year passed, and just in the middle of doing something..She flipped back to her old self.

So, don't give up hope. There is a chance she can go back to how she was, and it's very possible that when she apologizes, it's parts of her trying to come back. Otherwise, my advice is talk to a professional. As someone who spent my late teens and early twenties caring for my near bedridden grandmother... You can't ignore your own health and needs for someone else for so long without it making you bitter.

The hate for FFTA really does feel out of place. FFT is my 2nd most favorite game of all time, and while I admit that the FFTA games didn't reach near its peak, I still enjoyed them a good deal.

Sure, they aren't as good as the original, but they aren't bad games at all.

Depends on the drink, but a few years ago, they'd be from about $25 for the smaller, to $40 for the larger.

Even the small ones were worth a few hundred cups/glasses. The larger, for popular drinks, nearly triple that.

The markup is HUGE on it. Massive profit in the long run. It's why free drinks, or discounted refills and so on is a popular "bonus" at a lot of gas stations for spending on other things.

So, I think I realize why I never minded them. Do they talk through the controller speaker? I've had mine muted for ages, so I don't think I've ever even heard MAIs voice. Didn't even think she had one until seeing the hate for her.

90% of my interaction with the two was just quick button presses or easy to ignore messages while I fought.

Fair. I did straight up honor in my run. The only time I relied in stealth was when it was forced to keep someone alive. Otherwise, it was marching up to every gate for a duel, challenging the forts head on.

I actually enjoy traveling to a degree in open world games. Provided it has good scenery/atmosphere.

I'm slightly irritates though if I run across something blocking my path and the way around seems hard to find.

Oddly just got done beating the game. I kinda wanna try playing with using dishonorable methods as little as possible but that seems to stray from the games theme. Does it change anything? Like even dialogue

I can't remember if it changes any dialogue, but it does change the weather. Most stealthy, ghost stuff results in more storms and bad weather. More honorable, head on stuff results in brighter, sunnier weather.

Just saw it. Enjoyed it. Hollywood finally learned to relegate humans to being the support, and for their scenes/story to be directly about the Kaiju instead of human drama.

Leave the human drama for the Japanese Godzilla movies since they tend to do it right.

Overall, was just a fairly action packed giant monster brawl. Gave me what I wanted.

I just watched the first 40 minutes of the video. How are these investigators so calm when he's detailing every single thing he does. I would be shitting bricks out

So calm yet so terrifying. No cuffs on him or nothing, it's like they don't view him as a damn threat. Kinda what his friend mom said how he was a bit of an oddball but never thought he was a danger...

So, for interrogations, there are a few reasons to thst detectives choose to keep people uncuffed unless they are expected to be a legitimate threat..
1: Suspects are more likely to talk when not cuffed and shackled.
2: It looks better when the interview is shown during trial. Jury is less likely to be sympathetic to the suspect if they aren't all chained up. Also removes a tool from the defenses arsenal that the suspect felt forced into confessing.

Besides, he really wasn't a threat to police at any point. Unarmed, did nothing to hide his guilt, was open about everything. He clearly had no intention of trying to escape. Was a sensible call to leave him uncuffed and more comfortable to share all the details and his reasoning.

Places use a general allergen warning that states they can't confirm that any given item doesn't have this or that; and to inform your server of any allergies you have.

Thus, it's the customers responsibility to inform their waiter if they have an allergy to a food item, whether the customer knows if it's in the dish or not, for safety reasons.
