Wait what? That sucks, because Community in its entirety was just removed from netflix.

It's funny, I always hated that episode for obvious reasons, but when netflix removed it I went and watched it (since I already own the show) for the first time in years just because on principle.

It always struck me as short-sighted on the part of the streaming companies. Like they wanted to cover their asses in the event that people would complain about it, even though it's using balckface to actually say that blackface is bad and people who do it are dumb.

Its not just the studio/execs; its dumbass creatives too. Tina Fey (30 Rock) and Bill Lawrence (Scrubs) pushed to have their own art banned and removed from streaming forever.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I was referring to the Cartoon Wars episodes of South Park which aren't on Max, I assume because of the Muhammad stuff. Same reason Super Best Friends and 200/201 aren't available

South Park made an episode (or was it a two-parter?) where Family Guy made a Muhammad joke.
Then they made another one, and people decided to stick their heads in the sand to show the Muslims that they didnt support Family Guy. Bart Simpson also appeared.

Loool you guys were right, I just checked disney plus out of curiosity and the it's always Sunny episode was missing! They really did remove the lethal weapon episode, i didnt even think to check for that when i saw its always Sunny.

Shame because I love that scene with Mac and Dennis and Frank. The pilot episode gang gets racist is still there though so huh.

It struck me as more of an empty/insulting gesture by rich corporate execs that obviously don't actually care. Maybe they don't want to donate actual money to a cause, fine. But why not use their platform to create, instead of remove and delete. Like I dunno maybe create a show or even like a Def comedy jam celebrating a culture, rather than removing something that provided a critique through the approachable medium of comedy.

That is, if they actually did care

Chang's character got killed off and was out of the episode really quickly. Banning the whole episode was completely unnecessary to begin with. He could have easily been edited out.

Yeah I think the point was that Abed is a bad DM who railroads his players too much and doesn't know how to tell abusive players to leave the table

If it wasn't a TV show, and if it wasn't Abed, the DM for the game would have told Pierce to leave the table and ignore everything he tries to do once it became obvious he was just there to bully everyone and ruin the session
