This is the shit that makes me stay away from it. Earthbound is one of my favorite games, but it sounds exhausting to try to commit to playing a game a specific way.
A playthrough is 5-7 hours. 3 runs is ~21 hours. That's about how long it took for me to "beat" Hades.

If you're not enjoying it, you're not enjoying it. Don't force yourself to playthrough a game you hate. But it's really not the commitment you've implied.

Any of the GBA or DS ones.

Circle of the Moon is a nice balance between classic CV and post-SotN CV. It's a little difficult if that's a turn off. There's really simple glitches that amplify the experience, IMO.

All the DS games are SotN-style romps. They all have varying pros and cons.

Shoutout to CV3, especially JP version, for having a variety of gameplay and tight difficulty curve. Feels like a modern roguelike where you gradually get better and better on every run and have multiple paths and playstyles to victory.

If you're going to play Bloodstained, do NOT play it on the Switch. Personally, I thought it was way too easy in comparison to the DS games but doesn't make you feel OP enough in comparison to SoTN. But I played it in the Switch which just sucks.

I haven't played since season 1, but it wasn't very appealing to me. On the other-hand, I really liked D3.
The monetization is almost entirely for cosmetics. Though, there's an expansion expected to be announced soon.

I don't want to poison your expectations. Go in and see if you like it. The story has some amazing cinematics and the environments have a lot of work put into them. The gameplay generally feels very weighty, which was a design goal since early development.

The Record Keeper sprites were either taken from All The Bravest, another mobile game, or original to the game. A lot of the alternate sprites are based on Amano artwork.

I played 20 to 25 hours of the FF13 and I cannot tell you anything about the story. I got to some larger open world grassy area, got yet ANOTHER battle tutorial for new battle skills it was still slowly drip feeding to me and I gave up. I stopped playing. The story absolutely did nothing for me because I cannot remember a damn thing about it lol.

At least half the story is in the story log, for some reason, and even there it's not presented linearly. And it's notoriously a 30 hour tutorial before the game actually opens up. Sounds like you stopped right where the game gets interesting.

I wish there was a FFXIII-2-Sazh edition. Sazh just going around telling people why they're wrong. Let him have some fun, too, maybe ride a chocobo.

My partner and I went to take our dog, Mushu, on a walk before going to the gym. While Mushu was "mooshing" around, a small white long haired leash-less dog walked up to us. It started playing with Mushu. We saw some neighbors watching, so we asked, "Is it ok to play with your dog." They said it's not their dog and it's been walking around outside for a few days. My partner coaxed it over while I went home to grab Mushu's old crate.

I came back with the crate and saw that my partner had a few small bites in her hand, but still had the dog. We boxed up the dog, put it in the car, and drove back to our apartment. She called the animal shelter, but they were closed and said to call the police. The police came and called an ambulance and got someone from the animal shelter to come by.

While she was talking to the police, ANOTHER unleashed dog walked over and started playing with her. This one I recognized from our neighborhood, it had a tag and had clearly just gotten out. I eventually walked it over to one of our neighbors whose door was slightly open.

Now my partner has to get a rabies shot.

Do you actually love one more than the other, or do you just display that love differently? You've grown as a parent and probably do things differently than you did with your first kid. Also, kids are people and have unique personalities - of course you're going to treat them differently, they have different wants and needs.

They fight like cats and dogs, sometime. I tend to find myself favoring her in disciplining. My boy calls me out on it and points out that she got off easier. I usually refer to their age as to why he seems to get the shorter end of the stick.
In terms of discipline, it sounds like you might want to take a step back and try to look at things objectively on both a micro and macro level. Are you guiding your daughter in the direction you want? And are you making "correct" discipline decisions in the moment?
Maybe you can divert some of your son's energy elsewhere. Maybe you can roughhouse with him, or just play games, instead of letting him pick fights with your daughter?

(The heat wavy-like effects that you can see on things like the telepipe, high level megid, and the foie spells on the cube' version).

If she's stopping you from doing your laundry, maybe ask her, "Hey, can you move your clothes to the dryer so I can do mine?" If she doesn't do it, then either put them in the dryer or move them to a clean hamper.

If no one else is needs the washer/dryer, why should you care? Let her clothes get musty from sitting all day.

I've lived in a house with 6 other adults and laundry is just going to be an issue sometimes. You can make a laundry schedule, or ask in a group chat if anyone else needs to do laundry before you (and others) start, or just agree to touch each others' clothes.

I'm not sure what's on the app, but these are my SJ suggestions:

Chainsaw Man - just read part 1 (up to chapter 97), wait for part 2 to finish before starting.
Undead Unlock - quality is up and down, but stays good once it hits its stride.
JJK? - personally not a fan after the point the first season ends. There's a few GREAT fights, but POV gets messy and they start focusing on too many pointless characters. Apparently the anime does it better.

Akane-banashi: Something less action-y, but good and wholesome. My favorite current WSJ series besides One Piece. It's a profession series about Rakugo, traditional Japanese story telling, similar to Bakuman.

"It's a weed" is circular reasoning. The definition of a weed is any plant that you don't like. Saying that you don't like it because it's a weed is not giving a reason as to why you dislike it.

IMO, dandelions grow easily on their own so their presence shows a lack of personal lawn care.
