I am a fan of the 1949 Heisman Trophy winner from Notre Dame

All the usual names I wanted were taken so I just took my favorite animal at the time and angrily mashed multiple of the same number

I save Estelle.

Pokemon emerald is my favorite pokemon game, and during one of the segments where you can make a news phrase up, I chose "Emerald Egg Is Hard" because I had an egg in my party at the time.

I was a huge fan of FFX and the name popped into my brain when I was watching the Jim Carrey film, Bruce Almighty. I was also 14 years old.

When I was a young lad I created a fishman character named Mherg. I named my account that but it got set to Read-Only. So I called my friend and had him make me an account from his computer, but since Mherg was now taken I told him to add Zero at the end because I thought Zero from Mega Man was rad and I think the match of the day was Lloyd/Zero 2005. Anyway I obviously had to spell it out for him but somehow he only got the M I guess? He said it was taken, which should have clued me in to his error but instead I just told him to slap a 17 on that bad boy in honor of my favorite DBZ character and also my favorite number to this day. Thus I became MZero17, which I eventually lost and became MZero11 before finally snatching the elusive MZero with no numbers (other than Zero I guess) when they let us change our usernames that one time

My mom asked me to make up a name when setting up e-mail accounts for us. The first name I picked was taken so I just made something up: Fiop. It doesnt mean anything.

I was 12 years old and needed an AOL username. I didn't know what to do so i just picked my favorite character. Then it came back taken so i added the first letter of first name.

Then the name kind of stuck so i started adding "13n" to alts.

Someone actually impersonated me on GFAQs with "Yoshi13N" and got it banned.

My first ever account on GameFAQs was "Digit", named after the box art mascot from Robopon: Moon Version. However, I believe I got bored with that account fairly quickly, and meanwhile, I had access to TWO email addresses in my youth, so I made a second account using a cooler name from the same franchise. Inviso, Robopon #142.

Over 20 years ago I wanted to create a character for a message board roleplay scenario. I thought of a name after like 3 minutes and rolled with it.

Apparently it's also a subjunctive conjugation of a Latin verb, esurio, "to hunger"

My brothers nickname is Jimmy Junk Funk. Given to him by an uncle when he was young. Just went with it.

My wife says it sounds like Im saying my junk smells. I guess thats fair (though not true, lol).

I started using this username everywhere else around 2009 when I was obsessed with Persona (Fool arcana) and Fantastic Mr. Fox (with tagline 'Dig the Life Fantastic,' which is why Fool comes first)

I played Counter Strike when I was like 10 and liked the skull and crossbones spray so used skullbone as my name.

Whenever it was taken I'd add "k23" on the end but realized that makes it look stupid - skullbonek23. I'm always surprised when Skullbone is taken in the first place because it's such a stupid name.

I found out later there's a Skullbone music park in Tennessee so maybe it's because of that.

First username was just two of my favorite characters based on their appearnace in Kingdom Hearts (Cloud and Squall) That was too long, so I changed to my first nickname, and my middle name. Now it's just the Final Fantasy summon. Also because it was free to take which I guess means someone had it but got banned or purged or something.

Combination of characters from two of my obsessions at the time, Dynasty Warriors (Xiahou Dun) and Aqua Teen Hunger Force (Master Shake) - unlike most of my other 20+ years old usernames, I'm still quite happy with this one!

I had to come up with a nickname quick after my old username was banned. I was watching HBOs OZ at the time and right before starting a group fight the character Burr Reading said The time for actionhas arrived and then I went with that.

In The World That Never Was in Kingdom Hearts 2, each room name is something super cool and edgy like "Nothing's Call", "Twilight's View", "Havoc's Divide." I wanted to create my own so "Bane of Despair" came into my head. I had neglected to remember that there was already a "Brink of Despair" in the game.

I liked playing Paratroopa in Mario Tennis. I added a '1' at the end because it was taken and I thought adding a 1 instead of my birthyear or 420 or whatever was clever. it was not that clever but now I'm stuck with it

the meaning came later than the name. I just wanted a name that nobody would steal that I thought sounded cool (kayix) because i didn't want to ever have to have numbers in my username. came up with it by turning Chaos into Chaeix. Little did I know that people would come up with 15 different pronunciations of it. Then eventually I decided it meant the antithesis of chaos, the fundamental ordering of things

When I was nine I made an awful comic that was a ripoff of Mega Man where a robot with an arm cannon fought robot masters. It was terrible. The main robot was named Robazoid. A few years later I randomly named my account here after it, not realizing I'd be stuck with it forever.

I still have not seen any Zoids media.

Camden is a character from the game Brigandine, which I was really into in the late 90s and 00s. Then I just kept using it on other sites because I was used to it.

I use 409 at the end when Camden is already taken, which is just a random number I picked and has no meaning to me.

I liked the Wario series. Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land was the first game I owned on the first dedicated console I owned (Gameboy) and I thought a combination of that with "warrior" was cool. Most people just saw it as a typo of "warrior" though, if they even noticed it wasn't "warrior". My account on here was banned (My fault) and for the new account I added in Paper Mario, which I also liked.

This is my dedicated phone account (because a lot of people have those for some reason), and I was hoping that I could name it "Telephone" after the Octo Expansion character, but of course that was taken so I went with a different character from the same game.

My real name isn't Henri (or Henry) but it's the name I was assigned for frontier days in elementary school. Always considered Kenri more gender neutral than the names it's derived from though.

My original account from 1998 got banned (Burpadoodle), and then my next account got banned (Burpcycle), and then I had an account last for a while (KingZapdos), which got banned in 2002. Then I made a new account, Mangara, which is an anagram of Anagram. But Mangara got banned, so I made Anagram. I also had numerous other accounts get banned in between each of those that I don't remember the names of.

I think my first choice for a username was taken, although I don't remember what it was.

I was (and still am) a Pokemon fan, so my first ever GameFAQs username was "pokemaster 007". Fellow users used to call me "Poka" for short. That's were my current username (and other alt variations) came from.

Needed a name for World of Tibia and had just been talked into preordering Xenosaga that day.
