Need For Speed: Most Wanted (2005) Daytona USA Mario Kart 64 I think Gran Turismo 2 belongs on a rushmore instead of GT1 but as long as a PSX GT game gets on there, it's fine. Most Wanted 2005 is remembered as the final truly great NFS and gave us one of the most iconic cars in racing games (your BMW M3 GTR) Daytona USA was secretly a drifting game disguised as a NASCAR game that completely dominated arcades. Also gave us "Daytonaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Mario Kart 64, a Mario Kart needs to be on here but I'm tentatively putting 64 on here over 8. Mario Kart 8 Gran Turismo Daytona USA F-Zero GX the first 3 kinda feel like they have it locked up if trying to avoid repeats and outright represent different genres/phases of the genre. the last one is odd man out but honestly it has a case in terms of absolute quality as well as being a nice inspiration for future games. technically if i was thinking more legacy i might think wipeout more but GX is just that damn good of a game that it deserves to fight for that spot. --- "Maybe it's a tentacle, molesting the planet itself. - Aschen Brodel. ...
