As another day came to a close in the Board 8 Romance Mansion, the players all sat down to watch TV. For whatever reason, the only show they could all agree on was Saturday Night Live. The newest episode was hosted by Sydney Sweeney, with Kacey Musgraves as musical guest. All of the players were excited to see the show, except for Kirby. "Who's Sydney Sweeney?" he asked, innocently. The other players stared at him, mouths agape. "I guess I must just be living under a rock or something," said Kirby. For his lack of relevant pop culture knowledge, Kirby has been expelled from the game.

Players, we have uncovered yet another disturbing allegation. It's been discovered that one of your peers has been offering sexual favors in exchange for money. While that would be perfectly allowable in exchange for love, romance, or even information, we simply cannot allow this wholesome game to be tainted by such acts. All of you ought to be here to find true love, and nothing else. As such, they have been removed from the game, effective immediately.

You are Linda Cardellini, famous actress best known for Scooby-Doo, Freaks and Geeks, Mad Men, and Dead to Me (to name just a few). She might be twenty years older than me, but who could resist developing a crush on Velma from Scooby-Doo? And who can forget her performance as Sylvia Rosen in Mad Men - one of the few women to actually impact Don on a deeper level. Suffice to say, when I hear Linda Cardellini is in something, Im pretty likely to go out and watch it. Assigning a character or person the role of TOWN Prostitute was unenviable; I ended up choosing her without intending this to be any sort of commentary - as an actress, if assigned the role, she would crush it.

As TOWN Prostitute - Each night, you sleep with whomever you share a room with. You will learn whether or not your partner moved at night. Your partner WILL be notified of your action. The following morning, they will receive the following message: Last night, your partner slept with you. You will receive one of the following messages: Last night, you detected your partner move or Last night, your partner didnt move anywhere. You win when all SCUM players are eliminated from the game.

Day 5 starts now! It will last a little less than 46 hours and end at 9PM Eastern on Sunday, March 10th (since all of the EU players are no longer living, to my knowledge). As such, the last 6 hour period in which breakups must be mutual will shift to begin at 3PM Eastern on that day as well.

Much as I was hoping to die tonight, I disagree with you. My current PoE is more Dumey/Sultan/FD.

Chris is a much better player than I am at reading Sultan (though I wont deny hes the one date Ive had that Im most paranoid of), so it ends up FD + MZero.

I think Peaf thought that by saving Kirby, one of two things would happen. If Kirby died first, Peaf looks good. If he died first, Kirby would get sussed. Kirby almost died yesterday so this almost worked

I think the reason he felt comfortable doing this is that everyone in the final group was town, so saving Kirby for some town cred didn't matter because another town would just die anyway. Thus, I think the remaining scum can be found in the players who were comfortably matched up, who wouldn't even be pressured into breaking up and have to worry about suspicion if they refused

Chris - death was not around
Ulti - red probably wasn't around and wouldn't have broke things off anyway
Sultan/MZero - I was snoozing. For fairness I will include myself as well
Corrik/Isquen - partnered up just before the mayhem. Corrik is claimed deputy so he can be taken out

If Kirby is town, I think scum is in Chris/Ulti/Sultan/Isquen. I've explained why I don't think it's Ulti or Isquen, but they are technically still in play.

Chris and Corrik have since flipped town, so that leaves Ulti/Sultan/Isquen/Me

Lea, Lopen, and Kirby have also all flipped town, leaving FD/JC/Dumey from the D1 mayhem

Now that we know Peaf wasn't trying to save Kirby because they were scum together, I think my theory makes even more sense

To me the only reasonable play today is to lynch one of isquen or Ulti and to pair everyone else up in combinations that might be scum/scum if Ulti and Isquen aren't too reduce the chance of death on 5.

But I spent all yesterday trying to guide town and it was just wasted effort so what do I know.

My angry irritated ass you tried to "guide town." You know full well last night was a 3 town mislynch-off, and now you're clutching your pearls in mock outrage.

Why has everyone in every single one of my chats (except Corrik) suspected you? Why were the three of us the final three and not Sultan when Sultan was also in every PoE, apart from Chris going General Gamethrow? You were stupidly noncomittal talking with Dumey day 1.

Full claim. Now. Proffer some stuff from nighttime chats from living people, while you're at it.

In fact every goddamn time the possibility of throwing Sultan on the chopping block comes up you try to deflect.

I wouldn't say wasted effort. It was just Ulti and Isquen who screwed it up, and if that's the scum team they just delayed things by a bit

So if we go with your new plan, Sultan and I should date, then you, Dumey, and JC should decide who dies between Ulti and Isquen. Not sure about pairs between the three of you, but imo if Isquen is the lynch Dumey should date Ulti in case D2 was a gambit. If Ulti is the lynch I don't have a preference at the moment for who dates him

Or there's the option to pair Me/Sultan with whichever of Ulti/Isquen we don't kill if you think that's a more likely scum pairing

I had nothing to do with Sultan not being in the final 3. He could have been lynched yesterday and I'd have been fine with it. ANY one of the 4 of you would be fine with me, there only unacceptable outcome was NONE of you. The best thing Sultan had going for him was not moving night 2, but not much else. He looked a bit better day 3 and 4, but not much.

Or, Mzero, the simple solution is IT'S FUCKING FD

You're right, my apologies, the only time you've done literally anything this game is trying to get me mislynched yesterday and today, with an occasional spreadsheet. Full claim.

It is the only relevant part of the claim. Flavor, per the rules does not matter this game. I could tell your my role and paraphrase the PM but it is specifically cited as being irrelevant. There's a reason I did not keep track of flavor claims this game.

Rules

Each day will begin between 7pm and 8pm EST and end at 7pm Eastern.

This game consists of two teams, TOWN and SCUM. There is no flavor split (and anywhere from zero to perfect correlation between flavor and roles) - each persons flavor is simply a different person or character associated with dating in some way that I wanted to write about. As such, there are no roles that scan flavor in any way; it is purely for your (and my) enjoyment. Additionally, you know with certainty that the setup is 3 scum players and 12 town players.

The more relevant question is why are you ASKING for flavor. I seem to recall Ulti being hung up on flavor during a previous day as well. Curious.
