Okay caught up..

I mean Dumey pushing the topic isn't as concerning to me now I pretty much only thought he could pair with Kirby. Since I was wrong about Kirby I don't really see a Dumey scum team atm. Maybe FD?

I'm also not sold on Ulti being scum

Okay after a healthy amount of rereading I've come to the conclusion that scum is one of the following:

Ulti/Sultan
Ulti/Dumey (because of EoD2)
Dumey/JC (because of EoD1)
Ulti/Isquen (but I doubt it)

Isquen has just seemed very genuine to me despite being very confusing, ruining the plan yesterday, and generally being anti-town at times. The stuff Lopen posted, acting like he might get shot in our night chat, and constant grief just feel very authentic to me. I can't rule out top-tier roleplaying but I don't think I've seen that from scum Isquen before. I kind of feel like Isquen is being set up as a fall guy here.

So if I'm playing matchmaker, and I don't know why I would be since I'm still in the PoE, my preference is Dumey/JC pair up, Ulti is killed, and FD/Me and Sultan/Isquen.

Dumey/JC
Sultan/Isquen
FD/MZero

I think if either Dumey or JC is scum, they are scum together (or Ulti/Dumey), based on EoD1. I don't think FD is ever scum. Obviously I know I'm town which helps. Sultan/Isquen is still possible which we account for by having them date today. From my perspective this really only fails if FD is pulling a fast one on me or Dumey/JC is scum with Sultan/Isquen which I really don't think is the case.

I will say that Dumey was trying desperately to date Lea/Lopen over JC at the end of day 1. I don't know if a Dumey/JC team tries to distance there when they had an free route to safety. As I recall they town read each other throughout day 1, so no one would have batted an eye if they shacked up.

All that being said we must exile either Isquen or Ulti today, even if I think Isquen is town.

His willingness to die for the past like 3 day. Granted it almost seemed like yesterday he was almost forced to pair with isquen.

Isquen I think was going for either mis lynching Kirby or triple killing into all 3.

I could be wrong but I get more genuineness out of Ulti than Isquen.

I mean. I think I got little dog in this fight but if you really want me to pair with isquen I will do that. But I don't think he is going tonwant to pair with me and someone else randomly dies like yesterday when he refused to pair with Kirby.

Im fine with matching up with Dumey again, hes a town buddy. Im trying to come up with reasons why specific pairings would be better or worse than others beyond ensuring an Ulti/isquen/sultan final 3 but failing

He's been very opportunistic all game. The one day (yesterday) he couldn't date you he was calling you scum, despite vowing to protect you the day before and calling you town today. Of course he also took red's mass invite, buddied up to Isquen for reasons outside of the game, sent his own mass invite, etc.

Hmm my biggest worry at the moment is we had a scum scum pair yesterday.

Ulti isquen unlikely I'd think since they were both on the chopping block, small chace they think they could skate by today on some late day magic like yesterday but both finding a date idk.

Actually FD Dumey make alot of sense. They were pushing thread yesterday and pushing the plan the most in a senerio where neither of them gets looked at. Dumey is also pushing the senerio again today where he never gets looked at. The y could have paired yesterday and not look super suspicious and not pair today and pair tomorrow and win the game...

If that's the case we already Lost.

Mzero and JC could fall for the same theory relatively but Mzero was thrown on the bottom of the pile yesterday.

That's a lot of concerns with no solutions. Who should be paired instead?

It's paranoia. Everyone seems sold on dumey being town.

I'm so paranoid of everyone, lol. Sultan and Isquen distancing themselves is either genuine opposite alignment, or purposely trying to make an argument to not date each other.

But I still agree that I think FD and MZero are the "scum was sitting safe and letting town put up town for lynching every day" pair out of anyone in this game. So together with both of them independently suggesting they don't date each other today, I really want that pair.

I just am trusting that it is as simple as Ulti/Isquen at the end of the previous day never intending to die and going to find an excuse to mislynch anyone that was left with them. Really wish I had been MORE paranoid and had whoever we had with MZero ready to dump him if they didn't cooperate. Then we'd have Kirby still who I'd be more confident was a safe town to pair with. (no offense MZero, just my confidence in Kirby being higher)

Neither has done a lot of solving.

This is literally an insane take to claim I haven't done much solving, but MZero has. I'm not saying MZero hasn't done any solving, but to compare the two of our games and somehow come out with the opinion that I've done LESS is just ignorance or intentionally lying.

What is everyone's "I'm town and here's how" proof? I'm still relying heavily on Lopen vouching for me and the fact I am not a good secret keeper.

I think I'd honestly be okay with pairing up and ending the day earlier. I just wanted everyone to at least be able to check in and give thoughts. Unless anyone wants to do significant rereads and needs the time to do so.

In my mind, today there's no way I'm accepting a lynch that isn't Isquen or Ulti, and because they dated yesterday, they can't deny that again. I have a PREFERENCE for Ulti here, but if Isquen refuses to play and Ulti slips through another day, then what can we do.

While I didn't do the pairs with this intent, another bonus to doing FD/MZero and Sultan/Isquen is that if Isquen and Ulti did something stupid like a triple kill, it's Sultan that's left out with them. But if they're town, they shouldn't do that because it gives us less chance to correct tomorrow. And if only one of the two is scum, they shouldn't do that because it's taking out more potential mislynch targets from their partner.

- Sultan has an unmoving scan
- Ulti is willing to die and I believe his call that yesterday was a three vanilla Coliseum to make everyone involved look bad.
- Dumey has his "I mutually broke up" credit for Peaf day 1.
- JC?
- Mzero?
- FD?

Correction, it gives us NO chance to correct tomorrow, there wouldn't BE a tomorrow. If it's you/JC and a triple kill happens we go from 7 players straight to 4, game over.

TBH I don't even think I should be given much "credit" for D1. I literally stated at the time that I didn't expect Peaf to actually break up with me because there wasn't much incentive as either alignment. If I get anything from D1, it's just a willingness to initiate a breakup when I was safe and had been the whole day, regardless of my partner. IMO, my town case is more from general play and D3 End of Day.

JC genuinely does look better from EoD D1. As multiple people like Red, FD, and Ulti have also corroborated, JC pretty much is only scum if literally all three of Peaf/Dumey/JC was the scum team. And I know I'm town. Basically the argument here from other perspectives is that you'd have to believe that all three of Peaf, JC, and I as scum willingly put ourselves at risk at end of day separately for that to happen. None of us were forced into it. It was all willing participation. It just doesn't make sense.

MZero and FD are PoE only. They've both been present and playing. They haven't done anything that would give them strong town or scum credit in either direction, unless you have a strong strong player read on one or the both of them. FD hasn't played scum in forever, so I'm not sure anyone could confidently player read him outside of general play. MZero I examined yesterday with his pressure on Sultan and Ulti, but pretty much everyone that interacted with it said, "meh looks okay/normal to me." If we were to lynch them today or tomorrow, it's purely out of paranoia that scum was sitting back and not being involved with the previous days' lynches.

i have been putting myself at risk at nearly every EoD for no reason while trying to actually help instead of kill myself and have been effectively been pushing today's PoE since the start of day 2
