In the very next contest, Tidus defeated Kefka by a razor thin margin. Both characters were eventually able to get their revenge. First it was Cloud, who in contest XIX was able to redeem himself with a victory over Laguna. Then Kefka got his turn in contest XXIII, where he defeated Aerith to claim a championship of his own. Now these two battle-hardened champions face off, in this 25th anniversary tournament, to see who is our favorite Final Fantasy character, bracket style. Is the trophy meaningless? Perhaps. But when have these two ever backed away from a challenge? Bragging rights are on the line. In a battle between protagonist and villain, only one can come out on top. Let the voting begin.
