Why are we doing the tournament already?

We are 5 games in, this is not the part when people lose interest in the season. This is not a "midseason tournament"

it might be better if it was between Super Bowl and MM but I dont really care about it either way

It isn't just why are we starting the tournament already, it's also why is the schedule so lopsided. Some teams had their first tournament games Nov 3rd. I don't know if the Magic are the latest tournament starter but our first tournament game is Nov 14th. Some of the teams who played today have played 3 tournament games by that point

For the bucks, they played on opening day of the tournament, and they play on the last day of the tournament. So then they have just two random games inbetween that big gap. Honestly, I'm not sure how much hype group play is going to draw. Might get more exciting once the tournament starts.

4/5 teams held under 100 by the Wolves, tops in the league. Very impressive, really could have been all the games if not for that complete meltdown against Atlanta to allow Murray to go off like he did.

Quality win. Towns is not looking so good, but whatever. We buckled late again but for once, we were able to regain the momentum and close it out.

I'm liking the Bucks continuing to mix up their defense. Still needs work but the fact that they're trying things is a good sign. Also like seeing the balanced scoring on offense.

Giannis gets ejected on his second technical after a very questionable taunting call. He gritted his teeth after a dunk for literally a second.

porzingis and horford have each been t'd up this season for hanging on the rim to protect themselves after dunks. some very strange penalties and honestly setting dangerous precedent

Damn, we gave up 100, guys should have just been more conservative at the end. Still, another really good looking game outside of the free throw line. KAT super efficient this time, Gobert almost a 20/20.

Beef Stew was able to shut down Giannis all game which eventually frustrated Giannis to the point of getting himself ejected for taunting in the 3rd. Pistons were able to take the lead after that, but as the game got to its end it was clear with so many offensive weapons still out due to injury that Cade was going to be the only option and Bucks were able to focus their defense on that cause enough turnovers to get the win.

Don't forget Dame time. He's been slow to start games but this is the third or fourth game already this season where he's been a key contributor late to help seal a win.

Every time we have a lead in the 4th, the bench and role players does shit, so KD tries to 1 vs 5 everyone. I'll give Beal some slack, since he is coming off a back injury, although he did look good last night.

Granted this whole team needs chemistry. They are one of the heaviest TO teams in the league but it's essentially, not even essentially, it is a whole new team for all these guys, so they probably don't have a good read on everyone's positioning.

But Booker is simply a better play maker than KD at this point in his career. Suns desperately need him to stay healthy if we have any chance at all.

Chet-Wemby rivalry will be a lot more interesting in a couple of seasons. But for now its not really fair comparing the 2 with the overwhelming teammate talent advantage Chet has, while at the same time Chet is playing an important role on a team that will be playing competitive games all year.

I didn't expect us to win, but we looked a lot worse than I had hoped. Granted this was the 3rd road game in 4 days and you're playing against, at least in theory, one of the best offensive duos in the league. We didn't look good in any way at all though. All goods things must end I suppose.

schedule losses seem to be hitting all the good teams atm (except celtics, but our 3rd in 4 nights games have been against weaker competition)
