Fuck this bridge fight man. My party corralled on a small bridge, horde of enemies closing in, distorted enemies revive once, and the mythic gibrileth dude is freaking untouchable. I keep getting getting it down to him, but by the time it's just him, three of my party members are dead and his whip makes short work of the other three and they keep missing hits. I'm buffed up to my eyeballs and still losing. What more can I do? aaaa getting frustrated time for another break.

You could just leave the sanctum and come back if you need to. It'll take like less than 5 minutes to leave, teleport to Drezen, rest, and go back.

There should also be some relics to reduce corruption nearby. If anything you can just leave as the post above suggests and try the bridge fight later because after that you'll have a two phase boss fight.

Back to the sanctum and...I won, first try! Guess a little bit of non-corrupted rest was what I needed after all.

Near the end of the Sanctum, out of spells, death's door on almost everyone and I'm suffering stage 1 abyss corruption. This is one tough cookie.

Apparently completing Ivory Sanctum advances the plot to Act 4.

I still have plenty of unfinished Act 3 quests to do. Sooo I think I might have to go to an earlier save and do the other stuff first. Then complete Ivory Sanctum again. Welp. At least I know where everything is and how to do the puzzles so it won't be as bad. Still tho this suuucks. >_>

You dont have to go to act 4 until youre ready. Dont worry

The game will give you a warning when you've reached the point of no return and it asks if you want to advance. You still have to wait for Galfrey to arrive for one, unless you're an azata, and when she does you're asked if you want to advance the plot, declining will take you back to drezen where everything is normal.

Yeah, you have a straight in-game month of time to kill and ain't no time limit once you can go.

And even if you had to redo the Sanctum, a single level up can change a lot, especially if it's giving you access to a new spell grade.

Oh good! Cuz I really didn't wanna do the Sanctum again >_>

Is there a way to see the calendar in-game? I'm curious how long it's been. I know it's been at least two weeks since I went through two 7-days-to-complete decrees.

A thresher maw devoured a bunch of Alliance soldiers! Er, a giant purple worm killed a bunch of Hell knights.

Anevia says there's someone killing crusaders at night. Oh boy. It's Camellia isn't it? Following up on that vision.

Yup it's Camellia. Knew that bitch was crazy, but, damn. Don't know what to do. Character-wise, I shouldn't let her get away with it, but gameplay-wise, if I don't let her get away with it, I'm down a party member.

And someone who already has it on the Series but wants to be moderately prepared.

There really isn't any if you're playing a good aligned character. They're pretty useful gameplay wise but she's a straight up unapologetic psychopath, murderer and cannibal. Most of the time I spare her but from an RP perspective the whole 'I can change her' might work.

It begins.

Camilla is kill. I just couldn't think of an RP-reason why my good-aligned Angel Sorc would spare her. She was a main fixture of my party too so it's gonna take some adjusting my strategy now. Oh well, I'm certain she'd stab me in the back eventually anyway, crazy bloodlust wench.

At least it was followed up by a wholesome Lann quest.

This is why I always romance Camilla as a Lich.

I mean, that's more or less the crazy part of the game.

A single playthrough is already very long and great, but then you see the immense replay value on top of it.

Killed a dragon. Greybor's good, but I think his niche is already filled by Woljif. Still paid to keep him, because what could it hurt?

Gonna go to Seelah's friend's wedding next. I predict it will be a happy affair with nothing going wrong whatsoever.

Met the gold dragon Healthysnax and I'm wondering if he's my great-great-greatx7 grandpa since I have gold dragon blood.

Almost done with Act 3, just a few more quests left.

One thing I didn't know I could do was do that insane half-elf quest because I read that was related to the Flaming Lance guys I didn't save. But a replacement captain or whoever showed up and allowed me to finish it. neat.

Yeah, the differences are that you lose the buff in Act 1 and the replacement captain is a big ol' jerk.

Also the Trickster path.

IIRC that high-tech place is a real part of the Pathfinder world, something about alien technology from what I've read. The dungeon itself was a backer quest, there's another one that's a giant fallout reference.

That place also fuckin' sucks.

Couple fantastic items, but I hate it.

I think I hate Blackwater. Difficulty spike is through the roof. Makes Ivory Sanctum look like a walk in the park.

That lava bridge fight is brutal.

There was a starship that happened to crash in what is now the current nation of Numeria that's located to the south of the Worldwound. That's where all the advanced tech to the extent of stuff like computers, robots, and grenade launchers come from on Golarion.

You say that now, but the gear in there is pretty awesome, especially this lighning helmet is, at least for spellcaster not using elemental bloodlines

Also it's hilarious how easy the final boss of the dungeon is when you have Dimensional Door. Baddie tries to seclude himself in electricity field and I just pop out of a portal next to him and wail on him.

Anyway, glad that's over.

Not much else to do left. 2 more quests and then I sit around waiting for Queenie to show up.

Just go to the war table then keep hitting Skip Day.

That way you can see if anything interesting happens while you wait.

This. But make sure to keep an eye out for roming armies because you don't want to lose any forts.

Enemies are just exploding all around me. I think my builds are paying off. Battles aren't nearly as scary as they used to be. Early game was definitely the hardest.

That is basically how CRPGs go. ~10-13 levels of brutal micromanagement with constant deaths/resets, the rest of the game is you bullying everyone.

Some builds become crazy powerful at later levels. One of my favorite martial builds is a kitsune cavalier going into trickster to legend. The critical trickster feats, charge, and vulpine pounce plus all the extra legend levels have some crazy good synergy. Not only do you deal massive damage, you proc attacks of opportunity thanks to outflank which means most enemies won't survive the first round.

I killed Drazzler or whatever but....

Queenie stripped me of my title of Knight Commander and if it weren't for the Angel mythic path, I wouldn't even keep it formally! And she took over my armies and sent me on essentially on a suicide mission to the Abyss. Literally told me to "go to Hell." This is how she thanks me? Those are my armies, not yours! Drezen is my city, not yours! I can't believe how pissed I am at a pile of pixels...but I am!

Yeah people don't bigly like the queen for a reason. Worst still is that you lose all your armies and have to start from scratch so say bye bye to that one marksman doomstack. At least you're able to recruit past generals.
