Is there something specific you need to do?

Check out their inventories first, the shops have a bunch of great gear.

Then just pick a fight in conversation.

Azata has a whole quest with dealing with the slavers because they took a certain someone and also concludes with planting a forest in the abyss.

The only thing missing was the Valhalflings rolling in to fuck up one guy's entire day.

Found Trever. He has the portrait I considered using when I almost chose to be human merc before deciding to be aasimar sorc instead. That woulda made things awkward.

You can recruit him if you picked certain choices with Sosiel. I think they're the middle of the road choices, not the too optimistic ones or the too pessimistic ones.

Baldur's Gate 3 comes out in an hour or so.

No one's gonna have time to help lil' ol' Ivynn with WotR anymore. :(

Pretty great! It's a very thick tome of a game tho. Lots of complex systems to learn about. But don't let that frighten you, it actually doesn't take that long to get used to everything. It's only intimidating in the beginning lol.

If you liked games like Baldur's Gate or Divinity Original Sin, this will be up your alley.

I wasn't ready to embrace evil until around this time but I wasn't trying to be good.

I just gave him ambiguous answers to avoid commitment and ended up with a terribly built PTSD patient on the team.

Damn it, I think Lann is still in love with me. Seems like you have to actively try to avoid his romance. This is gonna be an awkward conversation. It's Kaidan all over again.

Why doesn't this game let you save before a fight but after a long cutscene/dialogue scene? So annoying.

One of the best CRPGs Ive ever played. And definitely the best or 2nd best in recent years. DOS2 is equally amazing and BG3 will probably blow them both away.

Depends on your choices. He will betray you in act 5 or betray the demons that hired him depending if he likes you or not.

You can turn him down any time and you can have multiple romances going on until act 5.

Also Greybor is a complete fuckin' nonce.

I think Greybor is the only party member I haven't used in any playthrough outside of where he is mandatory, even Wenduag I used in one playthrough.

That's the answer.

I think I have a problem.

I focused so much on buffs for me and my allies...that I don't have many debuffs to slow down enemies. Oops. Greater Dispel can only carry me so far.

To be fair you can easily kill most enemies in the first few rounds if you buff right and for tougher fights there's some really good buffs like guarded hearth. There's also a pair of goggles that roll a 20 on a single cast of dispel.

Or just do what I do and be a Lich.

Spell Effect:
This functions as a targeted dispel magic, but it can dispel multiple spells, starting with the highest level spells and proceeding to lower level spells. Additionally, the target receives a -1 penalty to attack and damage rolls, saving throws and Ac for every dispelled effect.

Dispel Magic (Target): You can use dispell magic to end on ongoing spell that has been cast on a creature.

You make one dispel check (1d20 + your caster level) and compare that to the spell with highest caster level (DC = 11 + the spell's caster level). If successful, that spell ends. If not, compare the same result to the spell with the next highest caster level. Repeat this process until you have dispelled one spell affecting the target, or you have failed to dispel every spell.

I fuckin' love being a Lich.

So how long is Act 4? I'm kinda over the demon city. I miss my crusaders.

Well I've been summoned! Is there a time limit to meeting her? I still have one more quest to do. As well as some slavers to kill.

No time limit, take your time.

I always do it so that her summoning me is the last thing that happens in Aslushydeernut.

HOWEVER

Go talk to her right now.

You're able to keep exploring the city, you just say "hold up wait."

If you go talk to her right now, however, you get something that'll make wiping out the slavers much easier.

Just be sure to ask a lot of questions.
