This was not the basic 45 minute dock and undock free extension of regular Citi bikes like he falsely claims. Citi e-bikes are not free. At all. Even if you're reduced fare. We see in his receipts he paid for none of the rides and as the night progressed, it took longer and longer to pull it off. It also shows that he was not going to leave near 7:19 PM because it would have cost him money. He wasn't able to get a free ride till 7:59 PM, likely when all the other regular bikes were taken by hospital staff leaving. In fact, it was probably in his best interest that Comrie took a regular bike to shorten his wait. Sure, it's a neat little trick here and there. But to basically abuse it daily, along with 4 other guys doing the same, is like 5 guys using cones to block off 5 public parking spots everyday and just claiming they got dibs on it. It's extremely entitled behavior especially since the e-bikes are very rare and in high demand and meant for commuting. Getting angry and aggressive while basically running a scam is peak entitlement. The fact that people are actually fucking wondering why a pregnant woman would want the e-bike is absolutely dumbfounding.
