Lol their story does show they weren't just shitty teens as you described and were actually the ones stealing the bike from her. Them giving their account is just as credible as the lawyer giving her account in a released statement

Which is why verifying with the company is key to all this.....not just some extra step....or unimportant because a group of poster here think so...

She will have to bring her suit in court suing all those that wronged her maybe to obtain this. But given the new development from his statement it's highly in doubt she would be successful now in bringing any suits.

I've skimmed over topics about this story and people seem to be telling two opposing stories as if they are both factually correct.

Everyone goes to their corners, amd the actual facts become muddied by partisanship. Facts that fit a specific narrative is acknowledged while facts that don't quite align with a sides narrative goes ignored.

As I always said, they were trying to take her bike, which both have now confirmed. You can't call dibs on something you have no ownership over, especially again and again till like almost 11 PM. These bikes are for everyone.

When there are conflicting accounts, it turns into a he said/she said situation. There is no reason to believe either anymore. As we know, Comrie claims there was nobody there and the guys came up after, which is in contradiction.

And finally, damn near everything I said about the receipts in the other topic ended up being pretty much on point. Now we have two different parties confirming the timeline. Also, I said it's more likely for teens to be shitty since they account for thousands of incidents daily.

The bike was docked, she purchased it, the boys forcefully redocked it claiming it was theirs.

Wether or not they had been using it all day is irrelevant. The moment they docked it, it became available. They had no claim to it. The moment the woman made the purchase it was hers.

Im gonna be on the side of the 6 months pregnant woman who committed the crime of getting emotional and crying out for help in a situation where she was physically restrained. Oh, it was kind of weird? A pregnant woman had a reaction to a physical confrontation? Imagine that.

He was paying for it during that time. So whats the issue exactly? He had possession of the bike with intent to pay for it shortly (and soon did). She tried to jump in rudely and take it after asking and being denied.

Whether he went anywhere with the bike after he started paying again is irrelevant. Not that Im even sure whether that info comes from.

I think that regardless of how long it took for them to rent the bike and finally leave after the encounter is the receipt that came from the woman. If the timeline of events is accurate, this woman was able to rent a bike only a few minutes after she started a fight with these kids, meaning she didn't have to fight them for the bike in the first place cause there was another unused one right next to her in the first place.
