Chris, you obviously fit into PoE's right now, and I have my grievances from yesterday, but let me ask you something different.

A. I noted at the end of they day how cleanly Corrik's PoE matched up with the votals, or rather people not on the votals. I hypothesize that if someone on that Lopen lynch not named Death was scum, it was probably Corrik recognizing Lopen was dead in the water and bussing him. What are the chances of that in your mind?

B. IF Corrik were to flip scum, do you think him making a point about how Lopen wouldn't incriminate a scum buddy on his first claimed Hide is still accurate? Or would Corrik flipping scum maybe make Ulti look bad as well.

This is my crazy Lopen/Death/Corrik/Ulti scum team theory that I'm considering if it's possible, or foolish with all the connections they made between each other.

@EDumey this is what I would call 'a bit too on the nose to be coincidence'

As for Ulti at that point you are down to the final scum and you take everything into account not just wifom from good scum players. Ulti put himself in the firing line a lot day 1 and acted in a way I think ulti would as town before I replaced in at a glance. This is different from elden ring where he was obviously scummy until I replaced in and tried to change his tune.

If corrik is scum I am guessing it was just a pocket attempt atp

Let me preface this by saying I still believe Dumey is town and I do not want to see Dumey get any votes today (it would take some pretty specific circumstances for me to even entertain that).

However, towards the end of our n2 neighbour chat he said one thing which gave me pause, either a scum slip or just totally accidental. I do not want this to be the primary focus of the day but I want this to be preserved for posteritys sake nonetheless in case I die.

Dumey, sheep said it is fine to paraphrase conversation from neighbor chat. Care to do the honors?

I am actually considering advocating for us not lynching death today. I havent made up my mind on it. If hes scum, hes probably just a one-time strongman who isnt much harm at this point. I believe theres a foolproof way for us to verify the validity of deaths claim on the (admittedly unlikely) chance hes town.

I strongly disagree. Death is BEYOND outed. Obviously someone got saved and if Death were responsible for the save, then he would be dead. So the person you watched visit red that you haven't outed is real doc. I tried to leash Lopen yesterday cause i thought he was just a commuter, but look at what he flipped. Strongman can be part of a wolf joat package and I want that tf outta here.

Ah, I was referring Wallz to a host comment at the top of the chat, about the mechanics of the chat, and accidentally said Ctes instead of Sheep.

My explanation of this is that Ctes hosted Tekken mafia just previously so my fingers auto-completed Host as Ctes. But I did say the wrong name, lol.

Edumey, if I am ever wrong the rest of the game, you can lynch me. Fair deal? It's beyond obvious who all the scum is.

Notice something interesting about those day 2 votes? No ctes anywhere on them at all. And yet at the end of the day, he gave me shit for "keeping options open." I replied directly to him about it, but at the time didn't even make the connection that he had no vote down. Even his day 1, all he did was vote bct in the same flurry that I did.

Lopen/death/ctes for sure, and i think the 4th is in the sultan/marth/chris trio.

When I asked Dumey why he said ctes name instead of sheep, Dumey first asked me if his memory served him correctly that ctes had just been host of the most recent game which was not MAD mafia hosted by Han. I said yes, ctes tekken game was actually the most recent before this current one, even more recent than Hans game.

Dumey said his brain was reverting to a pattern of old. Anyone who remembers Dumeys role in Tekken mafia will understand why I found this slightly traumatic. Its been a little while since Tekken ended, and I struggle with someone both asking for confirmation of a games recency and yet claiming the hosts name was ingrained in their mind from nothing more than the mafia queue and (presumably) reading along.

But if Dumey is scum, hes scum neighborizer. I do think its feasible this role exists in this game instead of godfather. So I would never endorse a lynch of Dumey before a lynch of ctes, because if they are scum together ctes role is probably the more dangerous one, and if ctes flipped town I would feel very comfortable with dropping any suspicion against Dumey.

ctes has not done anything to be a priority lynch, but he is part of a group Im neutral on and its highly likely theres scum in said group. It may be worth lynching him in the near future to rule out that death/Dumey/ctes are our remaining scum

Dumey is a good player but i don't see him doing that without influence from chris. If dumey is scum then so is chris.

If Dumey is scum it involves a gambit of throwing their roleblocker under the bus. I also divulged to Dumey reds 3rd visitor who is almost certainly doctor, I told Dumey I was going to watch this person, and I did.

But I still lean town and at a certain point you have to wonder when a gambit just stops being worth it (out your roleblocker, dont target the likely doctor when scum couldve just sent death ((assuming death is scum)) as a sacrificial lamb if they dont have a ninja)
