Lopen has died! He was SNES, MAFIA Untargetable Roleblocker.

The SNES has got to be one of my favourite consoles. The cartridges, the controllers, the lineup of games that are still exceptional to this day, it all adds up to make a frankly brilliant console. The SNES is on a pedestal, for me, untouchable by any other console to this day. While video games have come on leaps and bounds in the years since, and the industry has clearly matured, I still think the likes of Super Metroid and Link to the Past are the best games of all time, just because of how damn fun and polished they are. It all still holds up to this day, too! The N64 has some games that Id consider on the same level, but outside of a CRT, its damn ugly, while the pixel art of the top SNES games was gorgeous when it was developed, and remains gorgeous today. It also has the benefit of being far less buggy to emulate on modern consoles. Sometimes when Im frustrated with a game on my PC, Ill pick up Chrono Trigger, a DKC game, or Earthbound, blocking all progress in something new in favour of one of the old classics. A console that has such a sway over me to this day obviously gets an important role!

I figured doc would cover Wallz and scum would not shoot a role like Mzero's before Wallz and also since Mzero is a suspect anyway. I also figured scum would not shoot roles like Dumey's or Sultans either.

I got a message back saying my action was unsuccesful.
I guess doc protected the same target as I did?
Is that how it usually works if I target someone who already cant die?

I dont think scum gets two roles that render results useless.

Unsuccessful can also be the roleblock message of the game with an untargetable in the game.

Its also possible we dont have a doc, but a role that makes a player immune to actions or something

Back when I targeted Untargetable Sbell in Xenoblade Mafia, I also got an action failed message.
However I very much doubt Peaf is untargetable since that would make his claim of being roleblocked very reckless.

Tldr - I'm NES, not super like lopen, and one of my abilities is a limited number of Commuter actions (so you can see the similarity there). My other ability is active, but also has a limited number of uses. I tried to play it up to wallz towards end of day that i was protection-adjacent so scum would target me last night, assuming that they used their strongman on red n1.

Not gonna lie, with Death's weird action claim and Lopen's joke about all of scum team being variations of the SNES, I don't love that claim.

But it's also possible that scum DID try to kill Peaf last night, got an unsuccessful result, and decided to use that?

Would a scum team that got an unsuccessful night kill due to shooting into a doctor save think there was any other reason for a missed shot?

That claim is so weird and I have no idea how to evaluate it.

Personally I think you could have kept that a secret for a while longer since today seems unfortunately set in stone already.

To be honest I was worried you were the doctor and the block on you N1 could also explain the number of targets on Red

Also the primary reason for me opening with a Death vote is it seems incredibly likely that Death strongmanned Red, unless the existence of specifically a Ninja Strongman exists.

Not at all. I trust walls' judgment is all and let us be clear we both know bg claims are the providence of scum very often.
