We have found some cool stuff going in the complete opposite direction of any of the points on the map though

Storyline progress is impossible. I get sidetracked 50 different ways just walking from one shrine to another.

I like how they made Korok seeds more fun to get. I've already gotten more in TotK than I ever did in BotW.

I don't know if I'd say they're more fun, but they do seem less annoying than I remember them being in BotW.

Yeah, they generally seem a lot quicker to just pick up and move on with your life.

The backpack ones get much better once you get a certain ability IMO.

I decided to start Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere books. From what I understand, there's no consensus on where to start, so I'm going in release order.

I finished Elantris, which was pretty good. It had some Attack on Titan vibes to it, and I enjoy stories with alternating perspectives, too.

Mistborn is up next.

Release order is a great way to do it.

I liked Elantris a lot. Some good mysteries and fun characters. His writing is a lot more amateurish there, but I don't really mind that sort of thing.

Yeah, it was a pretty simple story, but it had some good characters and a solid mystery. I definitely enjoyed it.

I can't imagine it wouldn't be Subsistence in MGS3's case, at least. That camera was a game-changer.

Still not sure what to do about SF6. I'm interested in it, but I know I don't have the time to dedicate to it for a while. I might just wait until they release the inevitable version that has the DLC characters already on it, even though that might be a few years down the road.

I'll definitely follow the fighting scene online though. This looks way more fun than SF5.

Also I've made it to Rito Village in Tears of the Kingdom, so we might actually be on the verge of some real storyline progress...!

I still need to reach the Rito Village someday.

Well, they made it clear how this story ends with this one. Also, a really strong message on the importance of forgiveness, I appreciated that.

We're working our way through the Rito Village stuff. We've got a companion for this section who can produce a version of Revali's Gale, except it's horizontal, not vertical.

I made it to the Wind Temple. This section has been really fun so far. Let's see if the dungeons have improved from Breath of the Wild.

This Is Us Season 6 Episode 14 complete!

It's nice to see that romance finally work out. Feels like that was the right choice.

So Netflix started implementing all their anti-password sharing stuff. My wife is the one who pays for Netflix and was sharing it with her family, but of course, they didn't reach out to her about making her the primary account. It just asked the first person who logged on, which happened to be my technologically illiterate mother-in-law. She just clicked yes without thinking what it meant.

And apparently the only person who can change the primary account is the person who set it in the first place (and they have to be connected to the WiFi it's set to), so now my wife is having to try to walk her through the steps over the phone and it is not going well.

Netflix really did not think this through.

As someone who has had to do a lot of "tech support" for my parents... oh god she has my sympathies.

Yeah, I'm thankful my mom is pretty tech savvy, so I haven't had too many of those moments.
