Got the Dark Magician bundle. Got 6 UR from it. Not bad. I got a fricken Spright Elf as one of the 6 so now I have 3 XD Is it a sign? I dunno. Ranked has been crazy. I ran into a damn Nurse burn player of all things. Gold 4-5 have been a blender.

I think Im done with the Legends fest since I only have loaner decks and its just blow out or you get blown out. If I had an actual deck I would be ok with it, maybe.

Over all doing pretty good and banking UR credits. And Im restocked up on staples.

Turns out Odd-Eyes Pals is more consistent in this event, since no Electrumite means PendMages can't abuse the Astro loop. >____> But I'm glad. Odd-Eyes were my MVP in the ol' Limit 1 festival and it's nice to be able to let the silly balloon dragons stomp around again instead of just relying on generic Link/Synchro negate end boards.

I feel like Dark Magician is actually a pretty strong deck in this event. Still absolutely sucks if your opponent outs Eternal Soul, but the deck having unaffected beat sticks and a recyclable quick effect banish makes it pretty formidable in a format with fewer hand traps.

Yeah, I've seen a few DM decks running around, and they seem to be handling their own. I'm still surprised (and a little horrified) that my Dark Magistus deck worked as well as it has, though that might be because of Big Zoroa (Zoroa, the Magistus Conflagrant Calamity)being able to do its thing with locking out the extra deck.

Last royals of the anniversary for me: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord on my main account and Tuning on my side account. I went 0-for-6 in getting any royals that would actually benefit me at all. Oh well, at least I'm having a lot of fun playing Kozmos in the event.

Finally got home from my surgical procedure and got to open my last UR pack. And it seems fortune smiled on me.

I got Accesscode talker! Easily the top 2 of the ones I wanted. The other being sunrise. The thing is that I dismantled my accesscode a while back. Now Im back in business with no temptation to dismantle again.

Considering I got freaking Bingo Machine Go for my second one this was the bounce back I needed.

I got Cosmic Blazar. I'm a bit sad cuz that's probably my least attached of the Stardust pack, but oh well

The overall surgery went well but there has been some follow up issues. Got a way to take care of them but its going to be annoying and it didnt have to happen. Thanks though!

Also we are close to being the Bingo Machine gang! Im so sorry for you both and share your pain.

Imma dump all these gems from the event into more Gravekeeper packs. I still want my royal finish Necrovalley. I have opened a few hundred Gravekeep packs. No luck so far and only got one glossy Necrovalley. Almost every single other Gravekeeper card in the deck is at least Glossy I believe though.

Just dropped another 1000 on 10 more packs. No dice.

Ended up pulling Tuning. Which...uh...I guess isn't the worst card I could've pulled. Maybe one of these days I should build Synchrons. >_>

Finished all the event missions. Looking forward to Xyz 2: Suship Boogaloo.

You don't really need Synchrons for that.
Usually you get a Jet Synchron.

Oh I had no idea. Whenever I go up against Yusei decks I just know a million different trash robots spam the field and somehow make 2-3 space dragons.

Considering how useful Jet Synchron is, you can technically make a small Synchron stuff, especially if your deck also likes mill.

I got what I wanted.

Now if only I can make the deck /worthy/ of this.

I havent really needed more than 2. Either your cooked already or your so far ahead it shouldnt matter.

You seem like you have some crazy resources now my Red Eyes friend. 10 Martha?!? Half of which is shiny! That should easily get you what ever you need for Sprights.

Has anyone played Madolche recently? Just kinda interested and wondering if they are as fun as they look. I have Sprights and Heroes on deck already. I want more fun deck that isnt meta that can still do well. I would love Exosisters but I am 3 ur short to get enough for all the monsters and Pax.

Perfect. I havent really needed more than 2 myself. Keeping and extra One and one elf just in case some busted build comes out.

I have had a lot of luck with Mekk Knight Crusader Avamax or Goddess of the underworld to combo off Elf + Masquerena. Trying to hold elf until your next turn but doesnt always work that way of course.

Sprights can be just gross

Ye with my current spare URs I can only make 2 Elfs.
I do have Avramax already.

Too bad, I'm missing Power Tool Braver.

On topic of Legend Anthology, I am having a hard time.
My Rokket is gimped, I cannot pull Red-Eyes O/FTK, so I settled with Gaia that may or may not work.

Decided to play ranked with Lesbian Battle Nuns. Went up against Runick/Spright and banished all their shit so they ended their first turn with an empty board and zero cards in hand. (Helps that they didn't read Magnifica's tag-out effect so I was able to dodge their archetypal Imperm)

The banished has become the banisher. Hope they enjoyed that taste of their own medicine. >___>

So I'm getting into the One Piece TCG because my cousin wants to get into it. Also feel like it'd be refreshing getting into a TCG at the beginning when things aren't so...hectic a la YGO.

One interesting rule is, if at the beginning of the game you don't like your initial 5 cards, you can mulligan and draw a new 5 cards.

Imagine if Konami implemented that for YGO <__<

I think I might have scrounged up enough UR to make Exosisters! I had a few questions though. How important is Selene (the link UR I think?) and how do you feel about Exosister Arment? I see Arment in some lists and not others. Seems like a good card to me.

Arment I like to keep at 1 "just in case" but it hasnt come up too much for me with the new support. Either my opponent outed Magnifica and Im boned, or they didnt and I dont need it. But it does come in handy sometimes to add some additional pressure on my opponent's turn.

Imo if you build them, try it at 1 for a while, but feel free to drop it if you need to make space for other handtraps/board breakers/etc

Nothing fundamental has changed gameplaywise Just a bunch of content and the monthly events. Banlistwise the launch meta is definitively dead so if you jumped back in it'll feel completely different.

Might be worth getting back into if you're interested since the new top deck (Spright) just dropped and another one (Tear) is probably only a month or two a way.

interestingly, Konami has tried avoiding the Tier 0 stuff of the irl card game since two major endboard cards for Spright were banned before they released (Toadally Awesome and Union Carrier), and they'll probably do something similar for Tear so the format is more interesting.

Thanks for the response. I found an interesting and consistent (based on replays but thats also cherry-picked data) Exo sister list. I also was able to do one more 10 pack and got some more Exosister cards.

Im just trying to have a fun 2nd deck after Sprights. I was thinking Madolche but its a deck that just dies to any interruption. Exosister seems to have some good 1 card plays also the non targeting banish style seems really fun. Also that it can really mess with alot of good Archtypes at the moment.

Deer Note is in the Spright pack and mainly helps facilitate getting synchros on board since Punks always search either a high level or a low level, and shes the only non-tuner Punk thats lower than level 8.

Granted idk what the deck itself does I just know how the engine works, which in non-Punk decks is usually to get a level 8 synchro without committing to your normal summon >_>

Yeah exactly, rhongo gives you the illusion of a chance but when you realize he's, for most of the Duel, a 3000+ (in my case, 5000) ATK unaffected mother fucker who can't even be destroyed by battle, AND can't be kaiju'd (at all, given they're all banned in this event) then you just kind of have no options. I probably could have won the Duel but when I night beamed a goddamn waking the Dragon to get slapped with an ultimate falcon, I just fuckin scooped.

They mentioned how they took out Shifter to make it more consistent and probably to fit in the whole Zoroa 3 of along with D.D crow. How do you feel about Shifter? Im on the fence, I see why it was good in Floo.

At some point, I'm gonna have to build a proper ZW deck, especially now that Deer Note is in the game.

I like Shifter because it's a big dramatic blowout card that wins games, but I can see why others wouldn't run it. I personally like keeping it around because I just do not have the patience for Runick and Spright. >___>
