Hm thats a good idea. Just keep spying the difficulties on the ultimates and pick difficulty accordingly.

I definitely can do the 6/7s. I've even done some 8s.

Did 10 (Opera House battle) and died. But I was doing okay just had no healing and low to mid leveled guys.

Maybe I just need to stop rotating people and use a high level team with my boy Minwu.

Minwu makes it very hard to lose as long as you can survive to the halfway point

Just started. Don't like that you can't choose which title you want to unlock first. Or that they just aren't unlocked from the start.

Failed my first try, but still got an A grade? Double Arrows tripped me up because they weren't in the tutorial. Still tripping me up a bit because it takes me too long to register if they're in the same direction or not.

I'm using a realm team for all of them so far, though only doing basic and expert for the moment. When I start looking at ultimates, I'll put some specific teams together I think.

Love Grows plays during an important scene, so I'd imagine why that's the one that got in.

Same with Waltz for the Moon, even though Dance with the Balamb Fish is the better "dance" song.

So I've been doing Ultimate. Mostly have been beating them actually. Definitely more fun-- definitely don't agree the numbers mean a lot. Seems like the green stages are graded on a curve I think they overestimate how difficult the "hold the button and move the stick up and down" segments are.

Green stages generally beating 10 or lower. Battle stages 8 or 9 but it seems a bit wishy washy. I think I'm probably better at the rapid fire notes than I should be relatively to the mix up arrow segments. I dunno just trying to guess why the numbers are what they are

Random question does this game have a lot less characters than Curtain Call? I feel like Curtain Call had an FFX Rikku and Selphie and Steiner and a bunch of random other side characters that this one doesn't. Maybe I'm misremembering.

I've turned off all the trigger sound effects, and set the bgm timing to -15. That seems to have made a BIG difference for me, as know I'm playing to the actual music instead of the trigger sounds.

You are misremembering, none of those were in it. Only character that I think is gone is Auron #2, his Kingdom Hearts version

Huh. Weird. FFX Rikku I was sure I had used. The other two I would never use so understandable.

Related news just got beat by Etro's Champion which is 7 and got S on Paradigm Shift which is 9 and both are battle so who knows.

This helped me. I am getting a lot more rainbow criticals now.

No Steel Reason in FF XIV makes me sad.

ultimate'd all ff6... except Battle

60% in switching up between double buttons and arrow slashes is killing me now that they're exclusively stick vs button only so you gotta switch between them

even arcade version I think let you use the directional input for the buttons stuff like Groove Coaster!

casually getting my first All Crit when I get to FFXI Recollection aww yeah it had to be something I'm massively nostalgic for and just left running a while before starting

Man, you are about as wrong as possible. Phenomenal soundtrack.

FFXII has a handful of tracks I'd listen to outside of the game, but I just don't care for ambient soundtracks.

I would hardly call FF12 ambient. It's a true orchestrated score. I find it excellent for studying or working.

If I wanted music I didn't have to pay close attention to, then yeah, XII is a good option.

Whats the difference between the three versions

base game - base game
deluxe - 27 extra songs and the first season pass of dlc (another 30 songs from different not final fantasy series)
premium deluxe - deluxe + season pass 2 and 3 (60 songs from not final fantasy series)

Mystic Quest was quite good. Enjoyed it pretty well!
