Well?

My dinner tonight was LeBlanc curry, in case you're wondering what inspired this topic. (Yes, Atlus put out the recipe for it)

I'm not talking about specific cuisines, just what meat/grain pairing you prefer within your preferred cuisine.

Or if you prefer Steph or Tim Curry to the food.

Though I voted for Tim Curry, foodwise I'll go with chicken and rice. Classic.

what the fuck are these options

i like a Jalfrezi lately but Vindaloo is always good and Korma gets underrated as hell just for not being spicy

The way that tofu absorbs the flavors is unparalleled, so it will always be my top option. Potatoes, chick peas, or cauliflower are also excellent but not quite at tofu level.

you can have both, and probably would if I was going out for a special meal, but if I'm just making something myself or getting a meal in the week I'm not having both carbs sides, i'll have one or the other

As for curry styles, I really love Japanese-style curry. Indian is in general great but not something I can have everyday. I haven't had enough Thai curry to really form an opinion.

Favourites are Indian and Thai

For Indian usually paneer+vegetables+rice
For Thai usually tofu+vegetables+rice

You know, I can't recall if Indian curry use tofu much for their vegetarian curry. It's generally paneer and an assortment of vegetables.

But for this poll, I'm going with chicken and rice, because it's often the meat choice in Indian curry (which I normally go for when it comes to curry), and you don't often see beef or pork for their own religious reasons.

It's why i called out the cauliflower, chick peas, and potatoes. But that's the joy of cooking from home.
