That's fair. And not at all what I'm trying to put out there. I dont think Sultan calling me scum is something to fear, nor am I concerned that my lynch is happening today or any day, quite frankly.

I am much more concerned with Sultan picking up on my boasting as scummy when he in fact was doing it himself. This is a red flag that is much more poignant than my "reaction" to his vote.

Then why did you unvote Kirby? If thats your reasoning, Kirby literally went on a nonsensical analysis of a half joke page 1 in which he himself made himself -2.

Because when I asked him who looked bad on his lynch Ben seemed like the player he was most concerned with so I voted Ben. I'm not confident enough in myself to assume I've caught scum with my first vote and I'm trying to be better at fostering discussion instead of hindering it.

For the record, i also expressed concern about sbell for repeating that he was town. Once is enough, twice or more is excessive. I reviewed T1 of the last game and sbell had a totally different vibe there, so I'm good with him for now.

Problem with 2 scum is. Below 25-33% threshold.

If there was 3 scum, he probably isn't wrong to assume that scum would have liked to take out Kirby there if he was town. It also assumes Kirby is town and that 3 exist. Sure.

I mean, why not hammer day 1 if you need only 2 mislynches. You only need 1 more mistake at that point anyways.

I don't remember what supposedly this game was supposed to be role wise, but I am assuming it is probably 2 scum with 1 roleblocker and 1 godfather vs 8 town with a cop and no doctor.

Though, it could be no godfather either I guess and just a roleblocker.

I think that everything about ulti is performative and that I am physically incapable of forming an unbiased opinion of the man. In the Chris Madness game I was convinced that ulti was scum up until the moment he flipped.

It's weird for how an open setup with simple roles, we actually don't know the setup or the roles. Lol

The set-up here is simple: There are only three roles, those being Doctor, Cop, and Godfather. Everyone else is a Vanilla Townie or Goon. The scum team will comprise 25-33% of the roster. Roles will of course be randomized.

Yes he said one of the roles was removed but didn't say which one.

3 scum where we need to rely on the doctor to prevent losing in 2 mislynches is rough and I'd probably get rid of the godfather if that's the case.

He said he discussed with Chris the balance. I am assuming he dropped a scum and the doctor.

Discussing what power roles are in the game I don't think is a good idea this early. But I do think it's 2 scum. Isquen is probably town for assuming otherwise

He said it was simplified even further and at least one role was removed entirely. Could have replaced something as well.

I agree that it's not worth thinking too much about, just that we shouldn't necessarily think those are the possible featured roles.

Role meta is some pretty fake engagement here. Might as well purchase some Twitter followers to boost your ego with how you're trying to steer the conversation.

Please don't claim. Corrik would make it 100% chance of scum killing power, compared to 2/8 (25%) with no claim.

Assuming he is correct with his own role meta, that is.

If they have a role blocker yes but. A doc and a cop vs a Godfather vanilla. Cop should most definitely claim in this set up doc will save cop 100% of the time until they are killed themself

I think that's a foolish assumption considering this is simple mafia.

I know this is kind of dumb, but the host didn't give us the setup but instead was kind enough to tell us he removed a role from the 3. Like that role has to be Doctor right? Otherwise why keep the godfather if you removed cop.

But, if it was godfather they removed... and scum is literally 3 goons... then the cop should claim now and just be confirmed town. Scum can't do anything about it.

If there are 3 scum, town has to have a doctor. Have to give town a chance to not die in 2 days. Cop probably has to exist. Godfather is probably out due to being too powerful in a game in which you need only 2 mislynches.

If there are 2 scum, doctor has to be cut. Can't make it possibly 4 mislynches to win with 2 scum. Scum has to have a way to neutralize the cop (50% of the team being innocent).

So if 3 scum, the cop should claim right now. If 2 scum, the cop shouldn't claim right now.

So the question is... do we trust the host when he says scum will be 25-33% of the game. Because that would be 3 scum. And in that scenario the cop should claim right now and confirm.
