I want an actual discussion. Not just "Kirby looks bad". What about my posts do you take issue with? What do you have to say about my responses to Ben?

Asking me to point out scum when there's extremely few data points to go off of is dumb when there's a noticeable lack of content. You're better off pulling a Chris and asking me to name two random scum based purely on intuition.

Frankly, the only impressions I can make right now are of Ben and Peaf.

I would've been more reassured of Peaf if he had said he was a newbie, because his posts felt way too coherent and astute to be guided posts from a scum team, especially with the clarification he asked from BCT. It was very clear that Peaf was acting completely of his own accord, but knowing that he's not totally new makes it all a moot point. Otherwise, I would've been convinced he was town because no way would a rookie scum be making posts like that.

My impressions of Peaf are good. He strikes me as a logical and deliberate player, so he will either be a townie I can rely on to have his head screwed on properly, or a very cunning scum who will be difficult to break down. But it's still a tad too early to make a judgment.

As for Ben, I find it odd that he played along with my joke in the first post (note that Red isn't playing this game, either, which clearly indicates to me that Ben understood my reference), but seemed to take issue with me almost voting myself before asking about the number of votes needed to hammer. I don't quite understand what was the problem with that when Ben is usually a "joke phase" kind of guy.

Meanwhile, Ulti is acting completely like he usually does (that is, super defensively). So no surprises there; it's a complete null tell. Never played with scum Ulti (if I remember correctly), but that behavior isn't difficult to fake, I would imagine. Though I would love to hear scum Ulti stories if anyone has them.

Everyone else hasn't said much or otherwise have had no notable interactions.

Ok sounds like Ben is a good place to start looking.

I am down for a quick Kirby lynch.

I don't feel very comfortable going by page 1 posts, no jokes is definitely not a rule that I have ever seen followed very much.

That latest Kirby post sure seems like the Kirby I have seen play before, though he was never scum here. It'd be a complete shot in the dark to lynch him now on my part.

Anyway, while I appreciated the idea last time

We're only 10 and giving people another day to play will just delay the most active hours probably. It's the classic not starting your assignment until deadline day.

Also, opening post is solid but lacks some rules that are nice to have. Some were given later. I'd assume we have that claiming is allowed, be nice to each other, but it'd be good to know how the extension thing works exactly. I suppose it looks like it might not matter much but still.

We can't have SBEN if only half of us are town.

there are 2 scum in the rest of the 8 of you. well technically 6 of you. I've deemed igcd and ulti town already.

So if Kirby isn't scum, then look ma, it's already down to a pool of 5.

It's also best if BCTs first hosting gig, as someone very green to the community, of "simple" mafia is legit simple with standard rules that aren't constantly being adjusted.

To answer your question, I was scum and replaced out for inactivity because i stopped caring about board Mafia. I only did aimfia after that, and only the players who are good at that remember their history.

That post reeked of annoyance. First of all he voted himself to get to -2. Then he made an analytical post on content not worthy of actual analysis because he had to "prove he shouldn't be lynched" Could be green Town play or scum, sure. But, it isn't not scum play. He seemed overly concerned of being lynched for not good reasons.

Absolutely not saying he is scum. But, wouldn't be the worst lynch.

Also, I don't like Ulti so far. So that's on the record.

I'm not comfortable with Kirby trying to suicide - unsure if it's reverse psychology, a WIFOM attempt, or a "this game sucks I want out."

I'd like to vote Kirby. his open to the game didn't sit right, the explanation behind it did make me pull back a tad. The self voting irks me, not sure how to process it just yet. Town does not self vote himself and create that Wixom unnecessarily. even if he thinks it's funny. so there's that

While I am still bothered by the self vote I just reread the 70ish posts and I've determined that Kirby is more than likely town.
