Additionally, after consulting with Chris, I have "simplified" the roles even further from what I initially advertised, due to the size of the game. Make of that what you will, but I will say at least one of them was cut entirely.

Are you referring to me asking about the hammer? Listen, I'm a bit of a prankster, but I'd like to think I'm not a completely idiot. You'd know that about me more than anyone else.

I'd be totally down to vote myself for the meme, but not at town's expense. I wanted to make sure I didn't accidentally hammer. As far as I could tell, the number of votes needed for a hammer wasn't in the opening post at all.

That being said, I probably would've also naturally defaulted to "Peace" if you hadn't said anything. But I'm also largely unfamiliar with B8's members outside of these Mafia games.

Also if we're actually voting for if we want 72 hours or not, I am very against the extra long day. It didn't even help in the last game where there were more players. Just encouraged procrastination. Or at least it did for me.

Subsequent days were only 48 hours long during the last game, right? I think Day 1 being 72 hours was just a scheduling conflict on Chris's end.

That being said, I agree 72 hours on the first day wasn't too helpful, but I also can't really talk much on that front since I was merely a spectator.

I agree, but want it clarified ahead of time so that if and only if there is no clear consensus at day-end, we have a fallback plan.

I mean, by process of elimination, it has to be Peaf, right? Isquen has played at least one game with everyone else on the player list.

I dabbled in aimfia and got started on a separate board that fett happened to post to, and he invited me to a game on CE. I had fun with it and probably played like trash, and eventually came over to the b8 big leagues, where I got overwhelmed and stomped on, both on board and aim. I basically ignored Mafia for over a decade, until i decided to check in on one of the recent games here and I got to see corrik arguing over a pineapple. Since then, I've followed the games with some level of interest. Hence me calling myself the top mafia lurker in a recent signup topic.

I vividly remember one time where the best player ever gave me friendly advice over the phone or skype, and I don't think I've ever thanked him properly for it. I was young and bad when I last played, so it'll be fun to be old and bad now.

But this is all fake content, really. I'm just sitting on my rocking chair and talking about days gone by.
