I know it's because of the beta but it's still a bit funny that less than 24 hours after the biggest content update in the game, the 3.1 stuff leaks and people are already anticipating that lol. Endless hype cycle

Pretty much just started exploring Sumeru today, but its a lot of fun. Really loving the new scenery and running into brand new creatures and wondering what they do. Collei is pretty cute so Im glad shes free not that Ive gotten to the event yet.

How long does the new event run for?

Over a month at least. I think it said like 33~ days or something left

i got the free collei today. you basically just have to do like the first 2 parts of the sumeru story quest and then they give you her automatically, no event participation necessary.

and i pulled another one so that's C2 for me. probably gonna keep pulling this Zhongli banner until it runs out though because I'm sitting on C5 diona and C4 Fischl already and both of those would be really nice to have C6'd.

Still early in Sumeru. Its such a beautiful region. Met some of the summonable characters and ouch I might want more of them than I initially thought

Didn't expect them to have Dehya show up so early. Give her to me!

I've basically done up until the port where the event unlocks naturally, did that and am probably gonna take a break from the archon quests to explore and do the Aranara world quest maybe. I have a feeling there's some stuff locked behind that.

Dehya is definitely a WANT for me. Love the design and voice even though I prefer shorter hair. This region is a huge surprise as a whole so far and a huge part of it isnt even out yet still.

My only concern with Dehya is that with the way they're using her, I'm gonna bet she ends up being a 4-star, and she just doesn't give me support vibes, even if she's a bodyguard.

Got my free Collei! Green and purple is such a good color combo. Cant wait to build her eventually since I need a lot of materials. Also last I saw Dehya was called a 5* after a lot of 4* debate. Think people were calling her a 5* Xiangling type.

Well we already have 5* Sucrose and 5* Xingqiu...once we have 5* Xiangling and 5* Bennett the prophecy of 5* National will be complete

Except 5* Bennett will be inferior to the 6* Bennett we already have.

Anyway, if we get someone with decent pyro application, that could single-handedly warp the meta. Which I might be strangely okay with, because if I could use Beidou in mostly every team, I'd be perfectly happy.

Man I am never prepared for Floor 12s absurd feeling stats compared to the other floors, but oh well.

The two new bosses you can find in Sumerus area are pretty cool. I also like the new regional animals quite a bit design wise to the point where I feel bad when it wants me to kill them.

Sumeru progress for me is very slow still due to being busy with other stuffs, but Im getting there little by little.

I almost got all the waypoints, the only ones being gated by some type of quest to unlock them.

Hoping to get Reputation Rank 2 this weekend.

I havent even unlocked it for Sumeru yet. I know the final set of event quests went up, but they didnt say specifically what they were I think. I think theyre world quests somewhere though, but too busy to be able to play today

Speaking or mushrooms, getting them for Collei is a pain in the ass.

Are you also farming for DMC? I find that you fight plenty of mushrooms. You just need to fight them with someone that doesn't ruin the drop table. Unfortunately, that runs afoul of my first point, because that makes it so I want to run around with an aggravate team. If I had Kokomi, maybe I'd try bloom.

No, these are mushrooms you farm for her ascension and theyre equally or worse than farming Mondstadt shrooms.

LOL, fun fact, I havent even tried Dendro MC. Should I? Right now running Tighnari, Kokomi, Collei, Fischl/Kazuha.

dendro mc is a better support unit than collei because the burst lasts longer

Dendro MC is superior for dendro application, and I already had them leveled. I haven't touched Collei and I didn't pull for Tighnari.

Friendship XP is the only reason Im using Collei. Luckily my MC is Lv 90 tho so good to know.

Farming mushrooms is easy: just bring Venti off the bench! He's a lot better against Sumeru mobs than Inazuma. I almost forgot he existed since Kazuha's release.

Hmm, I've never really used Venti in the overworld. I suppose that is an option, though.

Yeah, the mushrooms Collei needs dont drop from enemies. Theyre scattered around random areas of Sumeru like Monas ones are in Monstadt. Ive been trying to ascend my Collei, but needing so many of them is a pain since I can never find very many per day

Kokomi melts enemy HP faster it seems. Dendro+Kazuha w/ VV works very well.

Dendro resonance boosts EM + Kazuha boosting EM.

kazuha's ult swirls whatever element you want to infuse with dendro (mostly electro from what i've seen)

What are the best Dendro reactions anyways? I finally got to the Dendro artifact domain to hopefully get some good stuff for likely Yae, Kuki and Collei for now at least, but I dunno what Collei wants just yet for stats.

Oh sure I was just confused because it doesn't benefit from VV at all. Sucrose's EM passive does the same thing.

Most people are talking about Aggravate/Spread because Bloom teams seem a bit harder to figure out. Fischl has become a god and people like double electro because there's just more good electro characters right now.

Spread benefits from crits and damage boosting so from what I understand you go EM/Dendro%/Crit on DMC and Collei, unless of course you need more ER for their bursts.

C2 Kazuha, but yes you can use Sucrose. Kokomi is just a really underrated unit. She does well with Kazuha and Dendro Res, and is pretty much unkillable.

This mushroom farm for ascending Collei is so awful you guys. I still need over 100 of them and maybe find like a dozen or so a day so far :(

I thought so as well, but there are some alleviating factors as you get into the Aranyaka quest line. There's an extra vendor for them that unlocks during that questline, so you can buy 10 every 3 days (including the one in Gandharva Ville). And a bunch of the mushrooms are actually in some of the caves you go into during the questline. So it went faster than I expected it to.

Sounds like Ill have to prioritize that

Oh I've had that vendor unlocked for a few days without knowing about it. Oops. I thought you had to complete the whole thing but it's just when you open Vanarana up. There's also an area of the map by the Electro Regisvine with about 20 of them that I've been collecting every couple of days but that's still not a ton and other than that they're pretty spread out.

I've got C6 Collei so I've been leveling her over Dendro Traveler. Their last few constellations aren't even out yet and who knows when I'll actually get around to collecting all the oculi.

Also if you plan on making a Burgeon team, you will probably want Collei over Dendro Traveler because Pyro makes their burst explode and end. <_< Of course the Archon will come out in a few months too and probably solve that problem if you pull for her.

When your most wanted Sumeru 5* isnt coming for a while. The banners in general for Sumeru are gonna be painful for me with the 4* alignment and what 5*s I might want

If anyone wants my mushrooms, I'm not making any moves toward using Collei (or Tighnari). I feel like I've farmed a ton of everything, but I'm sure it would run out if I tried to take her past 50.

And yes, I'm pretty sure we're all in Kusanali waiting room. As well as much longer-term waiting room for Dehya, Alhaitham, or whoever.

Dehya wait is painful since shes 3.5 at the earliest apparently. We should have some new banner info soon-ish since Tighnari disappears in a couple days

I mean, we'll know who's on Ganyu/Kokomi. We effectively know the new characters in 3.1. I doubt they'll be spilling 3.2 any time soon.

As for the second-half banners, I'll probably pull on Kokomi until I get Dori. I presume C0 Kokomi is more useful to me than C1 Ganyu. I use Ganyu a fair bit and an extra skill charge is nice, but Kokomi has definitely risen to prominence.

Oh Ganyu & Kokomi are up next before 3.1? Thats a skip for me. Rumor is Candace will be on Cyno for 3.1s first banner and Nilou for the second.

I'm in Cyno waiting room. After that I enter no pull mode. Unless Kusanali is very broken I will probably wait for a rerun to try for her. I'd rather make sure I can save for Dehya and Baizhu. Though Baizhu is a meme who doesn't exist so if we get no news on him by Kusanali banner then maybe I can try.

I'm honestly not sure what I'm saving for atm. I have like 200 pulls saved at this point and no immediate targets. The last time I had that many, I went in on the Hu Tao rerun for C1 and Homa, which was the only time I'd ever done a con or the weapon banner. There's an argument that I ought to pull for Tighnari while I can, but I don't have any specific interest in using him. We'll see if Cyno is really all that special, but he doesn't look like anything remarkable. He just happened to be in the original game preview trailer.

Maybe I'll pull on the Amos/Donut banner, lol.

I know I want Dehya and Candace a lot.

I wouldn't expect Dehya and Baizhu for a good while. Mihoyo looks to be spreading out the new releases more instead of frontloading most of them like they did with inazuma

the current line of thought (which is still subject to change) is Cyno/Nilou > Kusanali > Scaramouche > no new 5 star > Dehya > Alhathiam and Baizhu sometime after Dehya
