Just off design Im going with Collei. Game needs more girls with short hair though. Dehya is so close to perfection other than her hair.

Dehya is the best waifu out of the bunch.

Collei is the only one I knew beforehand, and I don't know enough to judge anyone else off of just the design, so she wins by default.

Tons of my artifacts still need work, but my team does well enough outside of 36* Abyss level anyways. Still havent managed that.

This is the easiest it's been in a long while, imo. I 36'ed the last two (haven't done it yet in July) and the last time before that was, like, Jan '21. That said, "easy" is also very relative to the power level of your account. I've been farming severed fate basically since Inazuma came out, and put together a really strong shimenawa set for my main from the scraps.

Getting into the game again in preparation for Sumeru. Currently trying to build up a few more characters to maybe have a bit more fun. Right now the focus is on Itto, and can I just say farming Onikabuto SUCKS. At least it finally forced me to be a good gamer and complete Tatara Tales.

Leaked character spoilers: Dehya is by far the most appealing of the lot to me design-wise, but according to the recent leaks she's a 4*? Why would you do this to us MiHoYo...why would you make best girl and the only remotely brown-skinned character another pyro claymore 4*

supposedly the characters originating in the jungle area are fair skinned and the characters living in the desert-like area of sumeru (which will be added in a later patch and isnt available on 3.0) are darker-skinned. So presumably once that area gets added most of those characters will have darker skin tones

I mean here's hoping but I'm under the impression the leaked characters cover 3.2 and maybe 3.3 which is a long chunk of time to be waiting.

Leaks/rumors. I saw Cyno and an unnamed "Cleopatra" ish character (according to fans) are rumored to be coming later so hopefully they have good designs and are 5*s because this batch just isn't grabbing me aesthetically

I dunno which one's which. I'd ask are they L to R, but my gamefaqs doesn't open pictures by default, so I'm just going to tune it out.

That strongbox announcement is a big deal, though. I have basically a full load of artifacts right now and was about to melt some stuff down. Being able to pick those sets is huge. Especially Crimson Witch and VV, which are notorious for being saddled with a set nobody wants.

So I thought at one point it was only common chests that respawn, now that I'm going back through the first two areas since I've come back I've found so many higher level chests I thought I cleaned out. Did they add more?

Also, are there endless world quests? Trying to clear these but it seems I get two more for every one I clear. Not sure if it was like Skyrim(?) where they can keep generating.

The randomly generated quests just seem to happen.

As for chests respawning, I dunno. I've never gotten one, but other people claim their normal chests respawn.

Im skipping until Sumeru it seems. Already have Yoimiya and dont have any interest in Kazuha or Klee though I did try to get Klee on her original debut

I'm on guaranteed 50/50 (lost Yae Miko way back when...) and am also skipping until Sumeru. I could really use Gorou cons but I don't want to blow it with an early C1 Itto so I'm staying strong.

If Xingqiu is on Kazuha banner I might do some risky pulls for his cons and the new character. I would not mind a Kazuha.

"C-1" is what you have before you get C0, so...

Thoma, Ning, Heizou would be fantastic in terms of what I don't already have at C6.

i might try and pull a few times on the kazuha banner for heizou, although i have absolutely no interest in thoma constellations so that might deter me. the next 5 star banner i'd really want to pull on is some kind of pyro vape carry like hu tao or yoimiya since i've got so many hydro supports. or potentially zhongli just for a good shield support (don't like diona)

I disagree. C1 Kazuha is really effective and fun to play. Charge E > Q > E.

C6 TTDS Sucrose may be just as good but she can only buff one element with her swirls. Kazuha buffs everyone with his and his Q is much easier to use and better for crowd control.

They haven't added any 5* characters to the permanent banner since release right? Every time I get the urge to play again I am instantly dissuaded because every new character they release is effectively limited. It's a real turn off to know there's a ton of new heroes released since I last played but there's no access to any of them except for whatever is current banner (the few times I've logged in whilst not playing, the current banner didn't interest me at all which is what exasperates this)

Nope, not yet at least. I figure they will add them into the rotation in the future.

It's kind of a double edged sword. On the one hand being uninterested in so many of the banners can be boring. On the other it lets me save more easily for ones I want. At the very least they've started running 3-4 banners per patch instead of just 2.

They have not added to the standard banner, no. I don't know if this is true, but I heard somewhere that there's a law effectively prohibiting them from adding characters people have "gambled" for via the limited banner to the standard pool, so Mihoyo would theoretically need to create a new character just to put on the standard banner. Maybe with dendro being added to the game, but I doubt it.

Either way, there is basically a 0% chance they're going to add the majority of past 5-stars to a format where you could get them on a basis that isn't time-limited. It invalidates their whole business model. The second anniversary is coming up in a couple months, though, and who knows? Maybe they'll actually give out the kind of rewards people were expecting last year this time around.

There's also this. I would not want to try to obtain a new character via the standard banner. Imagine how many times you'd get Qiqi first. (Or whoever you have a stupid number of constellations of at this point.)

Played this game for 2 years and today I got a commission titled A Commission from That Guy in Mondstadt.

Comes with an Achievement.

I still havent completed some of the achievement based commissions. Need to do the Godwin? one or whatever his name is, the one with the Fatui agent in the church and the stupid novel one in Inazuma along with the book one in Liyue Im pretty sure is bugged because the one NPC with the book never appears no matter how many times I get it
