I feel really dumb, but I can't seem to get anywhere in these pyramid areas and I feel like I'm leaving so much behind. It looked like I was supposed to advance the quest, get "clearance," and then come back, but I'm in the central area now and can't figure out what to do...which makes me think I was supposed to get this mysterious clearance somewhere else.

Still havent started the desert yet. Got a 3rd Amber C from a free Acquaint Fate though. Im not sure Ill use her even if I get her to C6 eventually, but neat I guess

I randomly bought an Amber con yesterday from the store, figuring why not? It was C4. I don't suspect I'll ever use her, either, but at least now I can plunk down two bunnies.

3.2 livestream coming 10/23. Still debating if I want to pull Nilou or not. Still havent gotten any artifacts from Dendro/EM domain for my Collei or Kuki worth anything either. Artifact grinding is just a nightmare

There was apparently a massive leak up to the next region

Meaning everything up to Fontaine? =/

Even part of Fontaine's map leaked (though just the boundaries, I don't think there's any images like there are for 3.x)

Most of it is very vague, it's like a rough schedule of characters until ~3.6 and some kit information as well. A lot of it is placeholder stuff, and there's some characters past that that is even sketchier. But it's still a huge amount of leaks.

Now that more characters are out do any of you happen to know if certain characters have more team options now? Like can you put Sara into a Dendro based team or like any other kind of team without Raiden and have her feel like she does well enough to be worth the spot?

I know just about anything can technically work, but Im curious if the Liyue and Inazuma 4*s got new options with the Sumeru characters and Dendro element being added.

they definitely should have more options. a lot of electro characters (kuki, keqing, yae miko) are now much better with dendro comps so i assume she could probably slot in as a support for one of them with dendro. i don't play sara myself though so idk for sure.

im thinking i might pull for nahida just because she looks irreplaceable in a lot of these dendro comps which characters i like playing (keqing, kuki, yelan) are really good in. i don't like the small child model characters in general but she might be too fun of a playstyle to pass up.

but also a large reason being that in the leaks i don't see any characters i actually want to pull for at all except for Dehya who is 3 patches away, and Layla who is a 4 star on this upcoming patch. so i'll have time to farm back up wishes in time for Dehya while skipping all the 3.3 and 3.4 banners.

Dehya is absolutely being summoned by me. I need her. I might grab Nilou too because yeah theres really nothing else in the future thats been leaked anyways that Im super interested in. If I skip Nilou I can save for some next region waifus though.always a tough decision

Sara is an attack buffer that can be used with anyone that scales off attack. It's her C6 that only affects electro damage, so any electro DPS (Yae, Beidou, Keqing) can be used with her. Then you add an anemo unit for VV shred, and now you can use a dendro unit for quicken/aggravate. I'm not sure how the damage bonus from aggravate/spread works, though, and I can't find anything about it in the game's encyclopedia.

Anemo is the one element I dont really have anyone built for. Ive got a C6 Sucrose, but my VV artifacts keep coming back as DEF and HP main. Pretty sure thats not helpful for Jean, Venti or Sucrose. Ive got so many characters to build still. Eventually Id like to have basically everyone I have be really good as far as builds go since its nice to play around with other characters.

I think VV is one of the sets where the 4-piece bonus is worth poor stats/substats, and I think the bonus would also apply to aggravate damage bonus

As for characters in new teams, I have my Raiden on a full EM build as an off-field hyperbloom trigger, and it simultaneously feels both right and wrong.

Ive still been trying to build my Collei and Kuki, but that EM/Dendro domain just doesnt want to give me anything worthwhile for the most part and Ive done it nearly every day for weeks now. I keep hitting the artifact cap and then turning scrap into VV artifacts which come back as garbage for me too. Speaking of cap I apparently hit the cap for the Crystal ores. Had no idea there was one

Sara's ATK buff is so short and obnoxious to generate (at C0) that it may as well not even be there. You basically have to pick it up and use it for a skill immediately, and then it's gone. Which is fine for Raiden slashes, but useless for just about everything else unless it snapshots. I agree that most electro characters have been improved considerably by either aggravate or hyperbloom...but Sara's not one of them.

Other 4-stars from Inazuma have some options. Kuki, especially. Thoma is usually the go-to for Burgeon teams, although those aren't very good regardless. Still not much usage out of Sayu and Gorou is still quad-geo.

For Sucrose or Venti, just use them at level 1 until you can get something better. Don't invest. Just keep them for the set bonus. Yeah, you lose stats, but the primary reason to have them is support. Especially a TTDS Sucrose.

Also, yikes, what's the cap for crystal ore? I assumed it was 9999. Which, TBH, I probably could have hit if I kept farming and smithing since launch rather than not caring after a certain point.

9,999 yeah. I had that stockpiled mostly from Expeditions apparently. I dunno what all to do with it since I have a LOT of weapon Exp as it is

Ended up getting Nilou. Couldnt resist I guess! Ive got over 330 Fates still so hey why not have yet another character Ill be working on building next year. I dont think I even have a good sword for her or what kind of role shell be serving in a team yet. Ill likely be using her with the upcoming archon at the very least and uhh not sure on the other two spots for the team yet.

Working on ascension for Nilou at least. The boss for that is pretty easy so thats nice

Looks like they revealed 2 upcoming characters after the archon banner I think. 5* Wanderer and 4* Faruzan

"Wanderer" is a particularly curious inclusion. I think many of us were aware, whether we wanted to or not, that Scaramouche was coming. But this character has an anemo vision, which is rather curious.

Yeah, not sure whats up with that. The 4* allegedly on that banner is interesting too. I feel like most of the time the characters I want are the 4*s which is probably the opposite for most people.

Monthly shop turnover. Bought Lisa (C3) and my blue fates resulted in an Amos Bow (R2)

Ive only got C1 Lisa, but I dunno how much Id use her even if she was C6. Im still struggling to build characters Ive had for like a year now :(

Some day I'm going to do a fresh install of Genshin and tell it to ignore the other voice acting files. I wonder how much space I'd save.

I also wonder if it'd be in my best interests to have this game on my HD rather than my SSD.

Game is up. Lost an early coinflip like 30-35 pulls in to C3 Diluc.got my guaranteed like 80 pulls after. I can C6 Bennett now if I want to though people always say not to? Razor is C5 and got some 4* weapons that werent too bad. I can R5 a Rust now for Yoimiya if I feel like it :)

Couple Noelles (already C6), couple Razors (C5), and Flute, and won the 50/50. Nahida is too adorable

i got one Razor, one Benny, and Nahida in approx 30 wishes but I was about that close to pity anyway.

Now we save for Dehya / roll a little for Layla and Faruzan

Once I build them up who should I be running with Nahida and Nilou? Since I dont have a Dendro character built enough for anything I dont know what the best reactions with it are. I know people were saying if Nilou is the main to have 2 Dendro and another Hydro, but I dunno if that applies with Nahida being the main DPS. I dont even know what Nahidas role is either though. If artifact hell didnt make it take so long to build heroes Id have a lot of characters ready for real use :(

The ideal team is Nahida/Nilou/Kokomi/Yelan. Barbara can sub for Kokomi in a pinch. Maybe XQ for Yelan. Nilou is really only compatible with her own Blooms, I don't think you should use her for anything else.

If I understand correctly, and I might not...You want Nahida as the sole dendro, a hydro healer of some kind, and then you need to evaluate how much damage the blooms are dealing and possibly pick your last character to help out with keeping you alive. Thus, Xingqiu is a good possibility for fourth. If the defense isn't needed, Yelan works, too. The main issue the team has is that it kinda sucks against a strong single target, so you ought to keep that in mind when picking your flex.

Perhaps I should try a Hyperbloom team with Nahida and Yae and uh whoever else as fillers instead? So many options

Remember you can buy 5 from an NPC in the forest village and 5 from an Aranara vendor once every 3 days. That plus clearing out a farm spot every so often shouldn't be too bad.

Meanwhile my lazy ass still needs to get the last 60 scarabs I need for Cyno. I easily got Nahida to 90 within a week of getting her while it's taken me an entire patch for him.

You think you guys are lazy? I havent continued the archon quest yet since the 3.0 or whatever one finished. Ive gotta do all the character quests since Yae still too >_>

It does feel pretty good to be caught up on the archon quest. But I have a bunch of Aranara quests and the desert questline in the backlog too. Plus story quests zzz

Ive got a bunch of those left to do still too. Its gonna take me a while to catch up, but hopefully Ill be there in time for the next region.

Oh you guys are lazy? I just started exploring Sumeru yesterday and have a 6 hour stream to prove it. I don't recommend watching it, cuz I didn't bother talking or anything; just figured I'd go for the free 1600 primos for streaming 30 hours this month.
