Got my 10th stamp before the 5th JP banner closed. I took Rem's sync since I figure I will eventually need to run all the labyrinth dungeons season 1-6 even if I don't do any farming. I was torn though on grabbing Red XIII's though because I would already have a respectable earth magic team if I had (I would just need to lens his chain which I'll be able to do in another week).

Also I realized they gave me a ton of MC select crystals, not sure if those were some kind of login bonus since I didn't see them in the dungeon rewards. Anyway I used a few of them and then absolutely crushed the d100 Phantom Train I needed to unlock better powerup dungeons and artifacts. I'm wondering if I might actually be close to doing full Nightmares, it would be nice to unlock 6* abilities so I don't have to invest a bunch in 5* abilities that will be obsolete very soon.

I decided to be slow and steady and I only spent 300 mythril on fest banners. My pulls haven't been the best overall but nightmares are a joke.

Garnet/Lightning/OK with a few assists here and there are going to have to carry the load for awhile while I save up stuff.

On one hand Sephs DA is a huge win for any potential VII CD attempts. On the other, I really was hoping for one of the XI DAs. The stuff I did get will help, but Im still not sure I have enough to beat the DK (probably enough that Ill make an attempt, though). Cool to get the Bartz DA, but besides his AA1 everything else I have for him is Earth. I guess I might try putting him in over Steiner for Bahamian Zero?

At least it's a useful glint but my fest pulls have been terrible. The only dual awakening I've gotten so far is Elarra's. Hopefully my luck is building up for banner 4 and I'll get Rydia and Vivi's DAs.

It's kind of a fun challenge how random my teams are. I lucked into a pretty strong Vaan with the tickets they give out (chain, aasb, and DASB) so I'm using him, but no one else can do anything with wind.

Man, that damage reduction was insane, even with Prishes AA; no way I would have won without that. I also used all three dpss dyad finishers (only one, unfortunately, before the first chain ended; thankfully Tottos LBO that went off between chains still hit for like 90k per hit). Frustratingly I couldnt get Tottos trance to activate; should have went with the LMR+ I guess!

Just Tactics left and Ill be done! (Besides maybe trying to sub-30 this one)

I really wanted to strengthen my Sephiroth for the final battle, but I think I'm gonna stop here. 7 relics total and only one of them has been a 7* relic; at least it's a pretty good one.

I'm tempted to do a pull here but I dunno, is Tifa viable for FFVII's Crystal Dungeon? Mine has dyad, dual, both awakenings and sync 2 but does Sephiroth just have too much HP to deal with even with that?

I was thinking Cloud (dual/sync 1 will lens awakening 1 later) Barrett, Tifa, Aeris and Shelke or Zack but I'm wondering if I should replace Tifa with Sephiroth.

Hmm looking at the upcoming banners, Im not sure there are really any I have much interest in besides water CD (Tidus/Meia DAs) and VII CD. I could do another pull on B2 or 3 (or even 5), though Im not sure those are worth it at this point. I really wish the earth lab banners werent almost all physical, which I dont need at all (I kinda want Galuf stuff out of fanboyism but I already have 3 BDL for him; the most useful thing there for me is actually probably his 500 SB G+!)

I got my Green Dragon re win before the labyrinth missions ended tomorrow. Ugh I hate that boss, he's too fucking bulky considering how much bio sucks. Dena must assume everyone has Kefka sync or something. At least all the scrolls are mine now to hone Barret awakening 2 (probably)

Man with the game ending I feel so lazy about this stuff now.

Perfect passives for all HE! This stupid mask had evaded me forever; I ended up getting two 5% masks in that final run. (If I had been further away from finishing when EoS was announced I would have just given up, but at that point I only needed this one and maybe some current season stuff)

Man, this guy hits like a truck. Mog died in P2 and had to be rezzed with Rosas awakening. Thankfully I had FuSoYas 40% DRBs in P3 and 4; last time I tried this I got absolutely murdered there.

Alas, Cid4 is one of like 10-15 characters for whom I have literally nothing (not even an LMR)! The PP armor hunt was purely for completionism purposes.

Oof, half stamina realm dungeons are over in JP. These are going to take so long now... It's much worse than double, because before the stamina shards basically cancelled out what you had to spend, making it effectively free. Not sure when the next half stamina period will be either, since I don't think they're releasing any more, maybe not until next fest. Oh well, I'll keep plowing through! I guess this will force me to save some of that mythril, as well as running the record dungeons since they don't take stamina.

How much stamina are you up to?

135 stamina. I'm definitely less than half done, I'm probably close to half way through the normal ones but much less than that on the elites.

I'm close to getting through the nightmare dungeons because the game forces you to do them to progress in the book of challenge missions. After that I might try some 3* magicite, probably just wind and lightning for now since those are the only chains I have.

Banner 4 time! My top wants here are everything for Rydia and Vivi (except Rydia's sync 2 since I have her better sync 4).

First magicite down in JP! That's golem. Magicites only cost 1 stamina now! Quite a change from the 60 they cost on first release. I'm still hoping I can jump directly to 4* (and hopefully 5*) without having to farm a bunch of low tier magicite, but it's great that it doesn't take much stamina if I need to.

From what I remember a historia crystal worked fine for 3* and 4* magicite (and then I actually built a deck for 5*s). You should get a decent amount of level 99 magicite from missions, though

I wasnt expecting healing to be an issue; but Rinoa died shortly into P2, and then Quistis and Mog were taken out a few turns later. I lensed Rinoas BDL G+ for this, but she was only hitting like 17k or something anyway under that and her dual so it was kinda pointless! Oh well, got my HC up to 130, at least; thatll help a bit

The chain was just about to run out and I forgot to use Rinoas LBO because Im dumb. I also screwed up the distortion phase and rechained/set up there which did not give me enough time to get the pain stacks for the final phase. It (barely) worked, though!

I lensed Ceodore's chain and 500 SB point G+ (and I selected his row phys HQC USB) to both get my last 580 sub-30 (successful) and try to take on the real Anima. I got her down to 2% once and then 5%, but ugh, can't quite do it. I'm too slow in P2 so I end up losing my BDL during maze guard (and shortly thereafter I lose my critfix). I think the main issue is that I don't have enough imperil; just Quina's AA2 and a few De'diajas from Elarra (which I can only afford to have her use under her AASB).

Agrias is amazing for imperils. Her AASB is lenseable, so she's certainly an option.

Agrias, Ceodore and "insert Holy dps with 2 bdl relics" should get the job done.

And yeah, I was thinking about Agrias (since ideally Id like to use her on FFTs DK as well), though that would have involved
going down to 4BDL which I think is lower than Ive used for any lab boss.

No harm in honing Agrias AASB for the 2 uses, if you don't have her Sync, honestly. For FFT Bahamut she will also do very well, since the realm is so heavily focused on holy.

Yeah Im mostly holding off on even lensing Agriass AASB because for a sub-30 I think Id need both an AASB and sync for either her or TGC (neither of which I have), so that probably means more tickets to FFT and thus a chance of duping it. I think Im probably gonna end up using my honing scrolls on Barrets AA2 for a possibly futile attempt at Safer Sephiroth.

I have no idea why I was holding off on this one; I one-chained Lich even before I lensed Zidanes AASB. I actually killed him twice; The first time I beat him in a little over 32s with a lot of holding turns (either for paintings or for some reason deciding to hold Zidanes IATB turns through the whole maze guard instead of boosting the chain), so I figured I could sub-30. The second time I purposefully took a red painting just so Quina could counter the aegis immediately, which got me out of maze guard at like 23 or 24 seconds.

I decided Id take a crack at knocking down my last two remaining Transcendent bosses, Long Gui and Garland. Got the former with phys wind+Aerith:

This thing is super annoying. I got him down to like 25% on my first attempt before wiping to sap, and then died like another 10 times due to Aerith being too slow to set up another USB2.

It was cool finishing him off with a 21x99999 with Clouds dyad, though! (With Zidanes ready to go)

What do you mean turn him into Garland?

The RW for the fight briefly turns him back into Garland (for longer the longer you put off using it), making him much less dangerous and squishier.

Too bad Ramza is so bad at dpsing (though I did actually use his holy chain to get the extra ATK buff)

Don't know if anyone needs them anymore, but you can now apparently buy a unlimited number of sapphires, rubies, artifact stones, maps, and keys with greens

I have now cleared all Transcendent bosses, primarily thanks to power creep. The last one was Long Gui, which I would have said was the hardest to power creep, except that Dyads deal an -absurd- amount of damage to staggered Long Gui. Next goal is to clear the FFXI Dragonking before the end of festival; if I'm not able to do that I might end up picking a FFXI Sync as my stamp reward.

Also I did the Long Gui fight on Crappy Wait Mode because it was still better than trying to select the right Soul Break before the next character finishes charging their Soul Break. Certainly, there are some parts of FFRK I will not miss.

As a little EoS-special, Record Sapphires (and other, lesser stuff) have been stealth-added to Fat Chocobo's Gysahl Shop. 10,000 Greens for 100 Sapphires.

OMG, finally! This guy is actually absurd. Here's what I had for this fight:

- Curilla Sync, awakening, USB
- Ayama Sync, awakening, AOSB, both HAs
- Aphmau awakening and USB1
- Shantotto DASB, Sync, and awakening, HA
- Lisette sync, awakening, HA
- Level 120 Historia Crystal
- Full hero equipment for everyone except Shantotto

I used every single thing on that list and still BARELY beat this guy, and nowhere close to 30s. Dragon King will definitely go down as the hardest boss in the game in my mind.

Also I should mention wait mode 2 and bonds of Historia 2, which I don't think existed when this fight was released. I don't know how anyone could beat this at the time.
