That phase 3 bulk under savage level 4 ugh that was really annoying to deal with! Kept running out of time due to the instant kill. I needed to use Mog sync command 1 and Strago dual + sync to do enough damage before the time ran out.

Thanks, I still haven't gotten another win yet because of the stupid interrupt in the last phase, ugh I almost got him but sap killed me before I could cast Caith Sith USB2 even though I already activated it.

Update-finally got another one. Gotta save Mog's glint+ with the heal for the last phase before the interrupt attack so it doesn't eat the last stand.

First attempt on D700 (with physical) I only got him down to 33.2%. Part of the problem was not having a counter for the Draconic Scales buff... missing that Quina sync feels a lot worse now that we're never getting the fest where it's selectable. My Bartz shenanigans were fun until they got shot down but huge damage reduction (I used his earth DASB which affects all spellblade combined with his water sync). I'll probably try magic instead next.

0/10 on the daily, but after a few days of getting junk I got something useful off of a Record's End ticket: Cloud's CSB+! I haven't used any of these (the only other one I have is for a zero BDL Decil) and they're presumably not as valuable in realm as in element, but hey, an instant chain and some free buffs can't hurt!

Congrats! Cloud's is the best one to get since the VII crystal dungeon is our last hard boss.

It's possible we still might get Fire weak Bahamuts as well. FF1 nexus might be hard too since FF1 is neglected.

I'm not expecting the content releases to go that far but if they do it'd be great. I can use my new Master sync for that labyrinth.

Looks like I should be able to sub-30, too; I think I held turns too long because I wasnt sure exactly when things would happen (and I wanted Ayames dyad finisher to push him below 40%).

This time I got him to P3 way quicker (though without using Ayames dyad finisher to push him into P3). In fact, I got him there so early that he still had two paintings up, and I had to wait several second for Fran to be able to safely rechain without taking a red painting. It worked, though!

I got Promptos DA since my original clear, so I figured I should try to actually make use of it. My first reclear was 30.60 or something. Not sure Ill be able to sub-30 Kraken with the additional interrupt.

I tried magic Bahamut Zero but got dead ended with 3.7% left to go. His damage reduction in phase 3 is insane, except for some reason my damage got good again at the very end of the fight. I'm not really sure what to do differently.

Bahamut Zero does an attack that stacks pain on him in the last few turns of the fight.

And yeah that reduction is insane, you really need to keep his imperils high and have a high chain count (preferably a chain with 150 hits) Mog's sync command 1 really helps too.

The more of his souls you can destroy before his Teraflare, the higher the Pain level inflicted on BZ, and the lower the pain on your party. Every 4% of damage removes 1 soul, so if you can get him down from 50% to 30% before Teraflare, you get the full 10 pain on Bahamut (and 0 pain on yourself)

Phase 3 really is a major dps-check.

I destroyed every soul so that wasn't the problem. I didn't have any source of imperil though. The options are pretty limited for magic... I don't really want to waste a turn having Rydia use a BSB but maybe I need to since I'm not using Arc or Serah. Also maybe I need to be saving my DASBs for the later part of the fight instead of using them early.

Gogo V is the easiest option for imperil since has a Red XII like HA. You can lens his awakening 1 and since the game is ending soon people just keep lensing it so they can use it twice.

I'll keep Gogo in mind if I'm not able to get it otherwise.

Phew, these pulls were looking pretty awful until I hit that Quina sync TBH. That was definitely the main prize there since Cait and Mog's syncs aren't as valuable as their awakenings. If I can get to 250 mythril in a week I might do 5 more pulls to grab Dance as One since I'm really going to need it to get through Dragonkings, but I'm only at 29 mythril right now.

Quina sync is huge, congrats!

Got Trey's sync off of Record's End today! (Also a dupe Eiko LBGS and some other junk). I have his DA (and AA1) so I guess he's probably secured his place on my BahaZ teams.

I got Strago's dyad on the Record's End draw. Sadly it's his wind dyad but it's still a cap break, so I might use it against Bahamut Zero.

What sync should I pick in JP? I think I narrowed it down to Red XIII, Tidus 2, or Shantotto. Red would give me a pretty decent earth magic team that's probably good enough for 6* magicite if I lens his chain. Tidus is the opposite situation, I have absolutely nothing for water or X so he would give me something to build on. Shantotto would make my lightning magic team great (except with no lensable chain) and there's a chance I might pull more and be able to combine her sync with her DASB. I have nothing for XI so far.

This was actually really annoying because maze gate is at 40% and my Red and Rude only have one BDL each, so Emperor had to almost solo the last 40%. I had two or three wipes around 3% because I just couldnt dps fast enough.

On another note, do the S1 bosses really not give out empower/dampen 18s? Guess I didnt notice that before

Made a few mistakes (especially Serah dying before maze gate ended) but thats S1 done. Now I just have the two fire magic weak bosses left to clear. My big problem there is that I have no imperils unless I kill Vincents dps and have him use Burnt Offering.

Nice work. Do you have Vincent's first sync? That one has a 10% imperil on command 1. And he gets a free one at the beginning of the fight from his hero gear instead of an instant action.

Funnily enough, I used my login ticket on fire and got

All I had for him before was his AA1, so that pull totally bailed out my fire magic. I was otherwise considering just running Balthier or a zero BDL Rubicante!

The new girl Arciela isn't a bad character to cover loose gaps, she covers ice/wind/water/lightning and you can get her hero gear 5/5/8 right out of Kite's shop.

Definitely missed a lot of the stuff I really wanted... DASBs and ATB sync for Rinoa/Squall, and syncs for Mog/Cait since I realized I can't afford to hone an awakening. Way too many things I need to lens with my L2 and L3 lenses. But I did get some pretty helpful stuff. My Quina is ready to contribute now, I got Dance as One so I can at least hypothetically do Dragonkings, and Hope is ready once I have the lenses for his chain.

Now I need to be patient about getting L4 lenses... I already took Desch's chain, I have enough for one more, but I need Red XIII, Vincent, Laguna, and Hope already and will definitely need more later when I have any relics for other chainers in other elements.

Geez. Sync/dual combos for two characters, plus an awakening. Now my physical earth team will actually have two physical characters, my water Magic team got a lot better, and my XV team went from nothing to almost DK-ready.

Finally got a level 99 Bahamut Zero! I swapped Meia for Quistis because I kept dying to sap, Quistis' awakening has a damage reduction barrier which makes surviving those powerful attacks in phase 3 a lot easier so I don't get sap BS'd.

Guess I'll have to tackled the physical one next, oh boy that's not gonna be fun. At least I only have to beat him once.

I dunno if I can beat the physical Bahamut Zero before the end of service, I can get him down to 25% ish but my cap breaks run out and I can't do enough damage before the eject Megaflare. Final phase before the pain is too bulky.

Who are you using? Might be worth doing more pulls on the banner before it goes away if you have mythril. Limit chains seem like a good way of getting some extra damage in that last phase... although only Tidus's would be useful for me since I'm not using Wakka or Meia.

I was using Trey (Dual/both awakenings/LBO) Lion (dyad/sync/awakening1) Paine (chain/sync1/awakening 1 and 2) Orran and Sarah.

Can't really replace Paine or Lion since I need the chain and imperils and I tried a couple characters over Trey like Wakka (dual/awakening 1) and Tidus (sync 1, awakening 1/2) and I can't get it done.

Magic side defeated! I didn't have time for more tries during the week since I was trying to get 250 mythril in JP. Main difference from last time is I got perfect passives for Rydia's equipment, used Mog instead of Lenna, and saved my dual awakenings for later in the fight (Rydia's was still active after BZ got pain status and she did some great damage). Still needed dyad finishers from OK and Rydia on the last turn to do it.

Edit: forgot to mention an absolutely clutch proc from Strago's healing counter LM. The second to last attack broke everyone's last stand and the attack right before that saps, so we would have been dead without that 25% proc.

And I guess pictures still work, it just doesn't like the one picture of my pull from yesterday. Maybe it's just over the size limit or something.

I still have to do the physical one, that seems a lot tougher. I'm a bit annoyed we'll never get Tidus's hero equipment. Although the bigger problem is that Rikku's damage is just bad. I really hope we get that banner refresh before the end, I could use whatever help I can get. Quina's Aegis break would be nice too.

Tiduss HE is actually in the FF1 group, so its possible that we could get it if we get events up to the last week. And yeah, Im really hoping for that refresh as well,

Phyisical Bahamut Zero is so bulky he makes everyone's damage look bad. I think the reason Tidus sync2 is so effective is that he wittles down Bahamut with lots of turns rather than raw damage.

Yep, not surprising but it is disappointing. It probably means no realm banner refresh either, although you never know. I wasn't even thinking about having to do a III labyrinth fight, I need to look at what I have for the realm.
