I got FuSoYa's AASB1 from the fest ticket (I have his sync and it has damage barriers, so it should really help with IV lab), and then Aranea's dyad and Thief AASB1 from the free draw (also Papalymo's wcast LMR; I think his +25% damage LMR+ I already have is probably better though).

I got a sub-30 win against magic Silver Dragon on my very first attempt. Makes me wish we got ice-weak Bahamut ZERO.

I got Noel sync from the Bahamut fest ticket so that's nice I suppose.

Lucky Draw Sync got me _seven_ syncs: Rufus, Quistis, Maria, Strago, Penelo, and Thancred twice. All were new, except Thancred obviously. 'Tis a good last lucky to have.

I got Tellah Sync on the lucky which is one I wanted at least.

Not very useful for any content I plan on beating though so oh well.

And another sub-30. Part of it is certainly the lack of that annoying 5 second wall, but that new Quina Sync really is a game-changing relic for my physical teams.

Yeah Quina sync is great. Do you have either AA and/or the G+3?

I've had the AASB1 for ages, and got the G+ last fest, so Quina is only missing AASB2.

on ffrk reddit there was an article with a wiki and I just had to download it from a page and it instantly installed on my phone super easy. It's right to my phone no real fuss, although it's possible it might have to do something weird to update it. I was surprised how easy it was.

Didn't get anything helpful from the banner, but cleared the D700 anyway. The most miraculous part of this was I meant to bring the heal RW but I accidentally brought Bonds of Historia, which meant I wasted a turn and had a reset chain one time in the middle of the fight. Doing the full realm team instead of Mog made things way easier, and Zan is extremely good even when all I have for Fujin is two awakenings and nothing more advanced.

I used her realm chain to counter FBs, it worked fine, although the 99% chain count limit was a little annoying, if I run it again I might use Rinoa's limit chain to raise the cap. She also had her bio Sync and awakening for damage.

Ah got it. Unfortunately Mog is my only choice to deal with full breaks in VIII, so Im gonna have to eat the off-realm penalty (though I probably will use Barrets chain + AA2 in my probably-doomed VII CD attempts later).

I think I should be able to beat VIII now unless Mog teams really need his AA1 or sync:

Rinoa: DA, AA1+3
Quistis: DA, SA2, AA1
Fujin: AA1+2

It was a huge pain in the ass, but I got my Green Dragon reclear. I switched up my strategy from the first clear and had Quina entrust Quistis instead of Leila (I should have been doing this in the first place, but I wanted Leila to be able to use her AAs back to back since one is water). I just stalled the first chain until Leila could do that anyway, and then was able to have Quistis chain-->DA-->mode 2-->attack for IC2-->sync, and then I actually used her sync command2 this time for the QC/buff.

It took me a while to find out how to get everyone to live again (Leila using Mug Bloodlust was actually necessary for the ATK debuff...), and then when I finally figured everything out Quina wasn't ready to go with the G+ at 40% and everybody wasted a turn against the aegis. I ended up getting mazegated because the team I loaded didn't have my new Quistis AA1 equipped for some reason.

The next time I timed Quina's G+ correctly (so I was able to get him down to 10% instead of 30% in the first chain)... with a little more firepower or better execution I may have been able to sub-30. I screwed up again though and misclicked Quistis's AA1 instead of a new chain, and ended up clearing in just under 34s (down from 39s for the first clear). Without that mistake it probably would have been 31-32. Hopefully I can actually get the phys Shiva sub-30 since I only missed that one by half a second last time.

I decided to try it. Did 2 draws on the X-Death Squall banner and got 2 1/11s for a Krile chain and Red dyad. Think that is a sign not to play JP. Uninstalled.

I'm also trying Japanese FFRK, but I'm really having to lean on Google Lens to understand the menus even though I know how to play. I think I'm probably not going to stick with it, but I'll play a bit more before I decide for sure. No good pulls yet, I did get a 1/11 with what looks like a water magic DASB for Onion Knight.

I got a water DASB and a new thing whatever its called for OK as well.

I also got a DASB for lightning and she is soloing everything that doesn't absorb lightning.

I've continued running realm dungeons in JP in the background (mostly while playing Elden Ring)... there are a ton of these things. After 2 days I'm only at 58 stamina. Not really sure why I'm still doing it, especially after I realized I'm going to have to redo the record dungeons if I'm serious about playing JP and doing those all back to back sounds horrible.

My take away is my global team is going to be powercrept within 9-12 months in all likelihood so I just need to work on those things over time and be fine. No need to try to get it all back at once.

Attempting some speedrunning I got Hecatoncheir down to 4.30. I think I could cut that down considerably if I had Zidanes IC3 LMR+; unfortunately, its existence means that he doesnt even get IC1 on his HE.

I decided to just go on banner 1 as it has heavy FFVIII focus and I kinda wanted to do the FFVIII crystal thing.

Got like all the Rinoa stuff including her realm chain and dual awakening. Feel like I could potentially do the FFVIII thing running Ultimecia Seifer Rinoa Irvine offrealm healer which is a kinda funny teamcomp. You can get by with just two fullbreak counters right. I have Siefer's counter so might be enough.

B2:

I would be much more excited about the Prompto dual if it wasn't for EoS; at best that will help me go back and sub-30 the lightning-weak labs. The Serah AA is potentially helpful, though I was hoping for more (also those two bows look extremely similar; thought I duped it at first)

JP FFRK Day 3 - I'm definitely enjoying the journey at this point. My biggest bottleneck right now is memory crystals. Their placement in realm dungeons seems pretty random so I just have a few right now. My best character theoretically is Krile because I got her sync and zenith... but she's capped at level 50 so I haven't really been using her.

The very early realm dungeons didn't seem to give that many stamina shards but the early-mid ones give tons. I haven't gained a single stamina from time yet because I'm always over my max. As of today I had to start running the 5 stamina per round EXP dungeons to avoid hitting the 999 stamina cap. The 15 stamina per round EXP dungeons are locked behind doing a d120 (I think) nightmare dungeon, along with all the crystal dungeons (except some version of crystal meadow). Gonna keep plugging away at it. I am hoping to get 10 fest pulls before the end of fest for the free sync... I had my 6th today and am working toward #7.

Do you have any greens? Not sure if its the same in JP, but in GL you can buy an unlimited amount of souls and MC1/2s with them.

I have a small number of greens right now... I'm waiting to see which MCs I get from realm dungeons for now but I'll go that route later. At the moment I probably need to buy motes, crystal waters, and orbs more with my greens.

I rolled with Aria from III because she did such good work for me in my global with her IC1 on everything forever.

But I also have a USB select so I wonder if Lenna's the best one for that one.
