The rest of them feel like filler. Not necessarily a major one but the fact that you can't understand why people don't all share the same favorite as you hints at it. I used to work with a guy with a major hipster complex he would talk about all the bands he used to like but lost interest in because they "made it" and he had gotten to the point (at the time I knew him) where all the stuff he listened to was basically difficult for me to acknowledge as music it was like he was intentionally listening to stuff so awful no one would ever like it. Typically stuff that is popular isn't popular because of lyrical or instrumental complexity or innovation. Stuff will be popular for having a beat you can bob your head to or a simple (usually positive) message that is widely relatable. I'm not saying people can't like low effort music like Hanson, Bieber, Jonas brothers, drake, etc. but it sure helps when you get it shoved down your throat and it gets stuck in your head on a regular basis.
