Amusing So really the question now is if Episode 2 is in the same timeline as episode 1. It's plausible. The evidence of that is despite this deal being proposed to shannon the deal to Kinzo is obviously also already struck, and part of Episode 1 was George proposing. We could have a situation here where Beatrice is striking deals with everyone and that cumulates into Episode 1 Or perhaps this is just a reimagining of a different scenario all together. Ryuukishi does the entire game except the music and proofreading by himself. Writing, art, programming, etc. He's not good at art.
