i actually hate this one less than i hate most of the pachinko art.

All of the guys look awful in the pachinko art.

Some of the girls look okay.

i feel the opposite, looking through them now, i think a handful of the guys look almost nice but don't like any of the girls

You know, if we are still entertaining a non mythical explanation, Kinzo going mad with rage at the loss of beatrice lines up with the story of beatrice escaping with Rosa at some point and dying on the rocks.

That would appear to kinzo identically as her vanishing.

But Kinzo's reaction to Beatrice in 3 seems wildly different. Wasn't there an entire exposition about how he didn't have enough magic or something or other to see Beatrice even when she tried to show herself to him? And wasn't he moaning about how she wasn't there?

Seems odd that he's like "Oh yeah, playing chess with Beatrice. NBD"

I remember that I also went and linked to that song during my playthrough as soon as it came up at this part of the game.
