Personally I just don't like grogu because the pace of the show grinds to a halt when he is on screen. And I think the whole the way thing is some of the dumbest shit star wars has ever produced. And I hate westerns, so the format rarely works for me. I just don't think the show is for me, which is fine. I'm just not sure why I keep watching it. His desire to protect grogu and his adherence to the way are so central to the character that I don't know how you truly seperate them. Especially if you remove the parts of his character that are defined by being the lead in a western - being a gruff hero wandering around helping those in need and all that. Din djarin is who the show needs him to be.
