Again proving how out of touch he truly is. He has no feeling or actual connection with what he does, because there is no passion there.

I still believe that he can make things better, just focus on what you are good at, don't take everything so serious, laugh at yourself a d you'll have a better time.

I've noticed that when he lists total tips he only lists whole dollar amounts. Today his first tip in one of his streams was 4.20 dollars but he only listed the 4 dollars in the total tips. Does he actually add the cent amount up "behind the scenes" and just doesn't list it because, er, to keep his childish word document record keeping tidy I guess? Or do those cents just drop into the ether? Cause I gotta say, the idea of Phil doing math actively through a streaming session strikes me as dubious.

He has those amounts so his fans can pay for the paypal fee and he keeps the whole round number.

It's odd that he has to put out those begging tweets so often, because his whales obviously know how this all works. Either they can't see that the tips total is low unless he points it out for them or they like to see him beg before they donate.

Well there is/was (not sure if she was banned yet) Badbunny, who is/was basically a female DSP, she begged as hard and guilt tripped her viewers constantly to give her money/subs/etc.

For a while Badbunny has been calling the "5 dollars a month" meme a sexist and harrassing attack on her. It's crazy.

Didn't Pokemani or some other female streamer also have an episode where she went "if you can't afford a 2 dollar subscription why are you watching my show?" or something like that? Maybe that was another one. I don't really watch streamers.

Any streamer who feels their viewers owe them money is delusional. I have nothing against supporting a content creator financially, but that's entirely up to the viewer and needs to be earned with entertaining content that deserves to be supported. Even if I had the kind of money where I could toss hundreds a month towards streamers, I can't Imagine actually doing it.

He expects his viewers to enjoy his gameplay even though he clearly does not enjoy it himself most of the time. Even if one could overlook the complete lack of skills, the begging, and the laziness, DSP's miserable personality and disinterest in what he's playing would turn anyone off.

Massive begging and stalling after a $17 stream.

It's always funny when he can't even hit $20 in tips, but I've come to realize that these "slow" nights actually benefit him in the long run. There aren't enough of them to put any kind of dent in his overall income (I think I read on KF that he averaged almost $140 per stream last year), but they play into his narrative that he's desperately in need of tips. Meanwhile, any stream where the goal is reached is quickly forgotten.

I guess it doesn't matter either way. One way or another, these people are going to give DSP money.

My favourite part about the 17 dollar incident was how he kept saying he wasn't making a big deal out of it or bombarding his fans with it, while he was doing exactly that.

Ackdolf piggler had a huge meltdown over people not subbing.

I saw that video, well a video on that subject, and I didn't really see a meltdown. I did hear him say it's super hard to get a members only game going because it would leave too many people unable to play. What if he can only play with 10 of them in 3 hours?! That would be really rude to the ones that didn't get to play. Like, holy shit.

He did the usual thing of blaming trolls for why he can't do what every other content creator offers.

DSP offers zero incentive to sub (or support him in general), then wonders why people don't sub. He's also going overtime for the third night this week because of low tips, which means he actually offers more incentive (ie: extra content) to not support him.

Why does he always tell his audience he's going to upload his streams to DSP gaming? How is that pertinent information? If they watched the stream they're unlike to watch the VODs, except OIC who obviously watch them each 10 times to give Phil ad revenue. If they're going to watch the VODs they won't hear him say he's doing it until it's done. He does it in tweets too, always finishing off with "I'm gonna upload now".

Why? He wants people to prepare and sit ready? It takes hours to do. My only guess is that he's trying to pretend he still does work after the stream because I keep hearing him mention uploading as part of his work when he's trying to pretend he isn't lazy.

He seems to be most comfortable when he's repeating the same things over and over again. With such a small viewer base, and an even smaller group of financial supporters, it's safe to say that most of his regulars know exactly how every aspect of his content works because they've heard it literally hundreds or thousands of times before. But he's pretty much on autopilot when he's not ranting about something, so he just continues to repeat the same shit every day whether it makes sense or not.

Phil really has no imagination or creative thought.

I don't know what's more sad and pathetic, that his army of money creatures consists of people who have nothing to say to him so they have to come up with such stupidities, or that he can't even answer the silliest question without going into a theatrical rant.

That was a better answer than I was expecting. At least he didn't give a single word response or dismiss the question with his usual "I don't know what the fuck you're talking about." I think some of his viewers would like to ask more intelligent questions, but anything that makes him think is likely going to be ignored since trying to answer will only shine a spotlight on just how ignorant he is of most subjects.

"If I set up a reward the detractors would mess everything up because they would just mass flood my e-mail with horrible things, and I don't have the time to sit though all of that, let' alone look at all the offensive pictures about myself, and my family. The core issue is and always has been DSP himself. He refuses to change or grow or improve in any meaningful way, so no matter what cosmetic changes he makes, he's still the same miserable e-beggar he's always been. And rebranding doesn't fool anyone. I don't even know who he's trying to fool, since his current viewers already know who he is and any new viewers will turn him off long before the prestream ends.

Unrelated to the immorality of his actions, asking for a 5 - 10 second tune seems incompetent. You'd aught to have it be like 20 seconds for it to be a proper transition. Imagine he getting the low end of it at 5 seconds. The purpose of such a tune is to signal the start of the show. 5 seconds is not enough time for people to drop their bowl of noodles, turn off their Linkin Park youtube vids and tune in to him. Or it's to make people who aren't religiously suctioned to the screen waiting for him to appear like OIC to be made aware that he is transitioning into the prestream show. 5 seconds of shitty audio because you were unwilling to pay someone for their work is not anywhere near a reasonable attention grabber. Of course it doesn't really matter because there's like 20 people who care.

It just strikes me as yet another basic thing he can't get right.

Someone could just record ten seconds of his audio and use that.
