I know one of his main flaws is his inability to ever learn from his mistakes, but it still baffles me that he's played through every Soulsborne game multiple times yet still doesn't know how to play them at all.

If I were to play armchair Psychiatrist with DSP, I would say that his hatred toward Capcom stems from his failure at being the best at tournaments when he was younger. DSP's ego (as big as it is) would never admit that he is to blame for losing (this is proven countless times whenever he plays a game and fails) so he projects the blame on a company that cannot defend itself...therefore justifying himself as right. When we all know that Capcom is innocent and DSP sucks at gaming, unfortunately DSP will never admit this and sees himself as the god of gaming.

I know it's become a meme that every big new release is going to rejuvenate his channel, but I think he was really hoping that Elden Ring would drum up the kind of excitement other FromSoftware used to generate. Instead, while it's preformed better than anything else he's played lately, it still hasn't brought in huge money, and this has left him salty. Probably doesn't help that he's being handheld through the entire thing while also being overleveled. He's demanding to be paid $150 a stream to play the game in the least entertaining manner possible.

I think people prefer watching him play the david cage games now.

This game was supposed to save Phil. But rather than actually play the game, he holds pre-streams for 90 minutes, plays the game a bit and moves on. He never capitalizes on anything.

If he had done a truly blind first attempt at the game, people would be more into it. No one wants to see another "Chat Plays <insert game title>," especially with a game like this.

One of the most psychotic things I've ever seen.

People who want to see him die a lot are out to actively hurt him by making his streams boring so nobody will donate. They all play 75D chess. It couldn't possibly be that they just want to see a giant manchild play games horribly and rage like a 12 year old.

It couldn't possibly be that they want different things out of his streams than he does. They want entertainment and he wants money. That's not allowed. You are only allowed to want what he wants, which is for him to make more money.

If he doesn't want people to take delight in his losses, he's got two ways to change that:

1. Stop reacting so strongly when he loses.
2. Improve so that he's not constantly losing.

Or how about a third option--stop whining about the reasons people attend his stream and just be happy that idiots enable him to live a very comfortable life sitting on his ass playing video games.
