Anyway, as I've said before, I am not one to judge the quality of another man's artwork, but Larry's drawing is certainly better than Ema's, if nothing else. And it turned out to be valuable for solving the case! The Forgotten Turnabout (E2-4) Ryutaro Naruhodo Zak Gramarye is a Jerk The Memoirs of the Clouded Kokoro (G2-2) Ema Skye Khura'in Kay Faraday Spirit Channeling Polly The Miracle Never Happen - An iconic line primarily because of the typo. For all of the praise the Ace Attorney series deserves for the quality of the localization, the games have a lot of typos (never forget calling the Kurain altar an "alter"). The updated translation in the Ace Attorney Trilogy fixed most of them though, including this line. I once had a "square peg in a round hole" fan theory that this alternate ending is what led to Apollo Justice, which is obviously not the case since it wouldn't account for all the details, but I liked the idea...! In the Benedict Cumberbatch BBC show, Sherlock didn't smoke at all. Instead, he used nicotine patches to give him that "rush." The more you know. She dug up the Professor before he was shot and found out he wasn't really dead. So she pretty much knew the whole time that the execution was a lie. She also did all this when she was 16. The original trilogy could make it tricky sometimes because there was often an early testimony where all you had to do was press the correct statement or two, and the game would automatically move on. 2-3 even gives you the option up front to completely bypass one of Acro's testimonies because there is no contradiction to find, but skipping a chance to press every statement, no matter how irrelevant or unhelpful, is unacceptable. The most diabolical thing the series ever concocted is crafting testimonies where you can be punished for pressing. Psycho-Locks The Herlock Sholmes "Logic and Reasoning Spectacular" Trucy Wright The Great Ace Attorney 2 Professor Hershel Layton - When I first played Layton/Ace Attorney, I had never played a Layton game. In the years since, I've played five of them. They're not as good as Ace Attorney as a whole, they're pretty fun. If you think Layton is a little too perfect in Layton/AA, his games humanize him more, especially Unwound Future and Miracle Mask. Within Layton/AA itself, one of my favorite Layton moments is deliberately presenting the wrong evidence when he takes over as Inquisitor and seeing the sheer delight in Phoenix as he gets to point out that Layton got something wrong. The original trilogy could make it tricky sometimes because there was often an early testimony where all you had to do was press the correct statement or two, and the game would automatically move on. 2-3 even gives you the option up front to completely bypass one of Acro's testimonies because there is no contradiction to find, but skipping a chance to press every statement, no matter how irrelevant or unhelpful, is unacceptable. The most diabolical thing the series ever concocted is crafting testimonies where you can be punished for pressing. Psycho-Locks The Herlock Sholmes "Logic and Reasoning Spectacular" Trucy Wright The Great Ace Attorney 2 Professor Hershel Layton - When I first played Layton/Ace Attorney, I had never played a Layton game. In the years since, I've played five of them. They're not as good as Ace Attorney as a whole, they're pretty fun. If you think Layton is a little too perfect in Layton/AA, his games humanize him more, especially Unwound Future and Miracle Mask. Within Layton/AA itself, one of my favorite Layton moments is deliberately presenting the wrong evidence when he takes over as Inquisitor and seeing the sheer delight in Phoenix as he gets to point out that Layton got something wrong. Apollo Justice teases you about it for the entire game, and when you finally get to that infamous case, it's just...so disappointing. Like, I get that you didn't want Phoenix to present forged evidence on purpose, but the way the game railroads you into the decision is so bad. "Don't even think about presenting the diary as evidence." But why not? The fact that a page has clearly been ripped out should be enough to at least buy you another investigation day, but nope. If you're going to trap Phoenix, then really trap him. This was just weak.
