I think a guy who mocked walls shouldn't be setting up walls. Beyond that, the whole thing is stupid because you're not going to see anything happen, not after the fallout from the Jan 6 riots.

more like a wall that spans several thousand miles wouldn't work, as evidenced by the parts of the wall that were built and didn't work. they didn't even stop wind. wind blew it down.

This has been debunked a hundred times over now. I hope I don't have to explain the difference between a thousand mile wall to prevent immigration and a few hundred foot wall for security. If so you're better off not participating in discussion and just lurk for awhile.

As in, the ones that protested peacefully were peaceful protesters, while the ones that forced their way into the capitol under the pretense of killing those responsible for certifying the vote were not? That actually sounds about right. The key difference, however, is that when people talk about charging the terrorists for their insurgency, they're talking specifically about the people that did actually participate in the insurrection, not about the people that peacefully protested outside. When people talk about "BLM rioters," on the other hand, they characterize the violence as being representative of the entire movement instead of being the actions of a very small handful of antagonists (including no shortage of instances where the police began the violence by outright assaulting people that were peacefully protesting) in a very small portion of all BLM protests.

TL;DR: People protesting peacefully outside the capitol=peaceful (albeit very stupid) protesters, people forcing their way into it=criminals. People protesting peacefully for BLM=peaceful protesters, people rioting=criminals. It's quite simple, you just have to resist the urge to treat everyone you don't agree with as a hive mind.
