I still have a decent amount of DNN

14 $0.5 Mar 2023 calls, been selling $1.50 and $2.00 calls to cost average down considerably. Contracts were about $0.50 each at this point which is a nice deal basically cost average of $1 per share

Do have half locked in $2 Oct calls which while I don't particularly want to be taken I wouldn't complain about. I just believe in the stock though not really a short squeeze play for me.

Nice to see GME roaring back today. Should have sold at close/bought at open for a quick 10% swing, but oh well.

RKLB is up about 100% in a week. That one is finally paying off after months of hovering.

Can anybody tell me anything about HBAR? A friend of a friend recently sent me a Voyager referral link where if I put in $100 it gave me $25 of Bitcoin. So I'm like whatever free money. I glanced through a few charts and threw the $100 into HBAR on Monday morning and it has gone up 26% since then making me regret not putting something substantial in there. It seems it always goes up overnight and then stays static or drops a little in the day.

So now I'm wondering if I should put something more than throwaway money into it

Yeah it seems there is a lot of fear about Macau, between the risk of increased government regulation and the abysmal revenue due to travel restrictions there which are still active.

I bet WYNN management is really thankful they didn't sell their US properties and relocate headquarters to Macau a few years ago like was discussed!

If only I'd gotten the $105 September PUTS I would've been raking now.

WYNN has actually pulled back enough that I kinda like calls on it again though. 2024 LEAPS have interesting pricing across the board depending on risk tolerance and goals. Like the 2024 65c seems almost impossible to lose money on and is an easy triple candidate to me. On the flip side you could just shoot way out of the money and stack up the 2024 150c and I think the odds of those printing is fairly high as it'd only need to reach around $160 by then for that to happen.

Theres negatives to it. If it was all positives, everybody would be buying into it. The FUD is what makes it a worthwhile investment, if you think itll come out on top. I personally see so many con tries and businesses adopting it, it just is so clear to me that itll come out on top.

I think the dollar and crypto can coexist because crypto really isn't used for the same purposes. As long as it's volatile, people will never hold or use crypto like they hold and use cash.

The US is probably quite willing to defend dollar hegemony (it really is the post-gold international gold standard) but crypto doesn't threaten it, at least not as it's currently constituted. If it ever gets that way, it won't keep going up at that point so it would not be a good investment then anyway.

Honestly the root cause of this is not crypto mining, it's the lack of a viable renewable energy source. If we embraced nuclear power then who would care how much energy is needed for Bitcoin?

And wow that just made me realize how good DNN is if that's our future

I believe batteries are actually the bigger problem right now

Nuclear isn't as necessary if you have better ways to store solar wind hydro etc.

That being said yes I think society embraces Uranium a bit on the way to battery tech

DNN having almost 1 billion of stores of Uranium bought at $30/lb when spot Uranium is $50/lb (and could plausibly reach like $1-200) gives it a lot of upside though even without considering their own awesome mine

Terrible day for crypto, my goodness. I have bought into the FUD and believe that we are entering a bear market.

I took out my BTC for a $43k profit, Ill look to buy back in when things are less negative. I am currently stuck in RIOT but will probably take that out too. I am down around $32k in it but about $7k of that is offset by puts and calls.

All in all, looks like I made around $18k or 8% in the past three months. I left a ton on the table, what else is new.

I just think your strategy is fairly nonsensical. You buy when stocks go up and sell when they go down.

If you think Crypto is a good long term investment you absolutely should not sell at its lowest point in a month. Conversely if you think Crypto is a bad investment, you shouldn't be planning on buying back in

I sold my crypto for a 30% gain, hardly buying high and selling low. Also, I dont believe that I am selling at its lowest point, obviously I believe it will go lower than its currently at. Your post seems to be based on incorrect assumptions.
